The EFTA Court in Luxembourg invites applications for the position as Registrar which will be vacant from 1 April
2007. The holder of the post is responsible for registry of cases and other procedural matters, as well as the general
administration of the Court including human resources, budget planning, financial control, information technology,
office facilities and procurement.
The appointment will be for a fixed term of three years, renewable once. The Court offers an attractive remuneration package
and benefits. The holder of the post enjoys diplomatic status.
Candidates should have a university degree in law, good understanding of procedural law and knowledge of EEA/EU law.
They should also have relevant experience from a national or international judiciary or legal practice, IT skills, excellent command
of English and good working knowledge of German, Icelandic or Norwegian. Knowledge of French is desirable.
