Basically, carry out maintenance<br />

and cleaning works with<br />

switched-off motor and power<br />

plug removed. Danger of injury!<br />

Leave any maintenance and<br />

servicing work not covered by<br />

this manual to our <strong>Service</strong>-Center<br />

(see P. 109 for the address).<br />

Use only original spare parts.<br />

Allow the machine to cool down<br />

before all maintenance and<br />

cleaning works. Danger of burn<br />

injuries!<br />

• Clean the machine thoroughly after<br />

every use. In this way, you extend<br />

the life of the machine and avoid accidents.<br />

• Keep the gripping handles free of gas,<br />

oil or grease. Clean the gripping handles,<br />

where appropriate, with a moist<br />

cloth soaked in soap. Use no solvents<br />

or gas for cleaning!<br />

• Clean the saw chain after every use.<br />

Use a paint brush or whisk for that. Do<br />

not use any liquids to clean the chain.<br />

After cleaning, oil the chain lightly with<br />

chain oil.<br />

• Clean the ventilation slots and the<br />

surfaces of the machine with a paint<br />

brush, whisk or dry cloth. Do not use<br />

any liquids for cleaning.<br />
