Function description -<br />
sweeping machine<br />
The <strong>KMR</strong> <strong>1700</strong> D operates on the<br />
shovel principle<br />
— The rotating main brush (1)<br />
transports the dirt directly into the<br />
debris container (2).<br />
— The side brush (3) cleans corners<br />
and edges of the sweeping<br />
surface and transports the dirt in<br />
the path of the main brush.<br />
— The fine dust is sucked by the<br />
blower fan (4) through the dust<br />
filter (5).<br />
Before first operating<br />
Unloading instructions<br />
For safe transportation the machine<br />
was secured with taut belts, ropes<br />
or chains.<br />
Proceed as follows when<br />
unloading:<br />
Lock the hand brake<br />
Remove the taut belts, ropes or<br />
chains from the transporting<br />
loops<br />
Knock away blocks securing the<br />
wheels and drive the machine off<br />
the transport vehicle over a<br />
suitable ramp (min. load-bearing<br />
capacity 2 t)<br />
Operating sweeping<br />
machine without<br />
automotive power<br />
Open the engine bonnet<br />
Turn the free-run lever of the<br />
hydraulic pump through 90°<br />
(crosswise to the driving<br />
direction)<br />
Note:<br />
Do not move sweeper over long<br />
distances and at speeds of more<br />
than 10 km/h<br />
