Instructions for installation<br />

Assembly and electrical connection must be performed by a qualified electrician.<br />

Connecting the power<br />

The unit is manufactured as a Category 1 unit, which means an earth connection is required.<br />

Connection to the mains is performed thus:<br />

Brown = L (phase)<br />

Blue = N (neutral)<br />

Yellow and green = earth<br />

It is recommended the installation height between the oven and the lowest part of the cooker<br />

hood is 65 cm, and for gas ovens 75 cm.<br />

Do not connect the cooker hood outtake to existing hot air systems or to chimneys. Before<br />

you commence assembly of the cooker hood you must remove the grease filter<br />

(fig. 11 / see p. 50) so the unit is easier to handle. If you are assembling the incorporated<br />

extractor version you need to prepare a hole for the extractor outtake.
