Optica 661 FH Instructions for installation Assembly and electrical connection must be performed by a qualified electrician. Connecting the power The unit is manufactured as a Category 1 unit, which means an earth connection is required. Connection to the mains is performed thus: Brown = L (phase) Blue = N (neutral) Yellow and green = earth 26 Model Optica 661 FH Voltage/Frequency 220V/50Hz Motor power 198W Total input power 238W Max airflow 800m3 /h Light 4x10W Halogen G4 It is recommended the installation height between the oven and the lowest part of the cooker hood is 65 cm, and for gas ovens 75 cm. Do not connect the cooker hood outtake to existing hot air systems or to chimneys. Before you commence assembly of the cooker hood you must remove the grease filter (fig. 11 / see p. 50) so the unit is easier to handle. If you are assembling the incorporated extractor version you need to prepare a hole for the extractor outtake.
M English Assembling the cooker hood: Separate the upper and lower parts of the inner telescopic frame. Remember the closed side must be placed parallel to the front of the cooker hood. Drill 4 holes ø8 into the ceiling and inserts 3 screws without tightening them fully (fig. 2 / see p. 45). Do not insert a screw into the hole marked X on the hole-template (screws and expansion bolts must suit the wall-type). Take the upper part of the frame, B, and place the 3 holes over the 3 screws, which are not yet fully-tightened (fig. 3 / see p. 46). Turn and adjust slightly to fit. Then screw the fourth screw, X, into place and tighten the remaining 3 screws so that the upper part of the frame, B, is completely fixed. Take the lower part of the telescopic frame, C, and place it into the upper frame, B. Adjust to the desired height and tighten into place with the accompanying 8 screws, G (fig. 4 / see p. 46). Extractor model: Fit the flexible tube into the prepared outtake hole (fig. 5 / see p. 47). Take the upper length of ducting and fasten with 4 screws, G (fig. 6 / see p. 47). The lower length of ducting should be allowed to hang on the outside but fixed temporarily with 2 screws, G, so that the ducting does not fall down (fig. 7 / see p. 48). Insert the extractor into the frame and place 4 screws into the holes for mounting, N (fig. 8 / see p. 48). Attach the flexible tube, H, to the mounting flange (fig. 9 / see p. 49). Remove the 2 screws, G, and let the lowest length of ducting rest on top of the cooker hood (fig. 10 / see p. 49). 27
