Please read the following important security information carefully – it concerns the proper
installation and maintenance of your cooker hood unit. Store this guide so it is available for
future reference.
The cooker hood is designed for use with the extractor model
(external outtake - fig. 1 B / see p. 45), with the filter model
(internal air circulation - fig. 1 A / see p. 45) or with an external motor (fig. 1 C / see p. 45).
Security precautions
1. Use caution when operating the cooker hood in conjunction with an open fire or combustion
oven reliant on the surrounding air, and which may be powered by other energy
sources than electricity. This is because the cooker hood removes the surrounding air
that a combustion oven or fireplace normally require for the process of combustion.
Always follow local regulations for external extraction.
