Cleaning and maintenance - after each use<br />

Clean the appliance after use. Make sure that the epilator is shut off and unplugged. The<br />

main unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth and some mild detergent. Regular cleaning<br />

prolong the efficiency and life of the appliance.<br />

Cleaning of epilator head<br />

Remove the epilator head by pushing the release button on the front and lift upwards. Lift the<br />

epilator discs by squeezing both sides of the cover and lifting up the discs. Use the brush to<br />

remove hair on all sides of the discs. Replace the discs by gently pressing until it clicks into<br />

place into the cover. Place the epilator head back onto the unit until it clicks into it´s place by<br />

lining up the teethed wheel on the body and the epilator head. Put the protective cap back.<br />

To remove residue from the tweezers, use rubbing alcohol on the brush. Make sure the<br />

brush is not soaked in alcohol.<br />

Important!<br />

• Persons with sensitive skin can easily get irritated skin after epilation. You should therefore<br />

try the epilator on a small area on your leg or arm before you use the appliance.<br />

• Do not use products that contains alcohol before or immediately after use of the<br />

epilator.<br />

• If you press the appliance too hard towards the skin during use this may cause irritated<br />

skin.<br />

• Do not use the appliance in your face, on sunburned skin or irritated skin.<br />

• Do not sunbathe immediately after epilation.<br />

• We recommend that you use lotion after epilation.<br />

Safety instructions<br />

1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.<br />

2. Plug the adapter to a household outlet of 230V only, and use the appliance only for the<br />

intended use.<br />

3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when disorder is experienced, when<br />

not in use, when parts are applied or removed from the appliance and before cleaning<br />

and maintenance.<br />

4. The appliance and adapter must not be immersed into water or other liquids.<br />

5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced<br />

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless<br />

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by<br />

a person responsible for their safety.<br />

6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.<br />

Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible<br />

handling of electrical appliances.<br />

7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.<br />

8. Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open fire or the like.<br />

9. Don´t touch the adapter with wet or clammy hands.<br />

10. The appliance should only be used under supervision.<br />

11. Do only use original spare parts.<br />

12. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is<br />

damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly<br />

qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.<br />
