We recommend that you epilate in the evening the first time you use the epilator so that
possible red spots disappears until morning. Note that some women can get sensitive
and easily irritated skin the days before period and can experience the epilation more
painful during these days. Take a warm bath or shower to open the pores and use a
exfoliation cream to remove dead skin. This makes the skin soft and smooth and makes
the epilation less uncomfortable. Make sure that the skin is clean, dry and free from
moisturizers before you use the epilator. Use a moisturizer after epilation.
Use
Make sure that the switch is in off position. Insert the adapter plug into the bottom of
the unit. Plug your adapter into an electrical outlet. Remove the protective cap from the
epilator.
Start the epilator by pressing the switch to desired setting. Low speed (1) is recommended
for fine hair and setting 2 for coarse hair.
Hold the unit at a straight angle (90º) with the OBH Nordica logo towards you so that both
epilation heads is in contact with the skin during epilation. Pull your skin taut using your
free hand to ease possible discomfort. Move the epilator in short, quick brush like strokes
towards the direction of the hair. Note that the epilator must be held in 90º angle. If
you press too hard against the skin the epilator will slow down or stop operating to avoid
damaged skin.
Shaving of arm pits and bikini line
Be extra careful when epilating your arm pits and bikini line since the skin is very sensitive
in these areas. Lift your arm over your head to make it easier to reach. If the hair is very
long you may trim the hair with a scissor before you use the epilator. Pull your skin taut
using your free hand while epilating and remember to hold the epilator in a straight angle.
If the skin gets irritated after epilating, add some talc or a mild lotion and wait twenty-four
hours before using deodorant or perfume under your arms.
