If the <strong>SRU</strong> <strong>7060</strong> cannot learn the code after several times trying,<br />
it is possible that:<br />
– The IR signal of your original device is out of range (the <strong>SRU</strong> <strong>7060</strong> can<br />
only learn IR signals with a carrier signal of 30-60kHz.<br />
– The memory of the <strong>SRU</strong> <strong>7060</strong> is full.<br />
– The <strong>SRU</strong> <strong>7060</strong> stopped the learning process after 20 seconds if no<br />
IR signals are found. Check if your original remote control is working<br />
correctly.<br />
Switch backlighting on or off<br />
With the backlighting of the <strong>SRU</strong> <strong>7060</strong> you can find the right key on your<br />
remote, even in a dimly lit room. As the backlighting consumes additional<br />
power, the battery lifetime will reduce when the backlighting is used<br />
frequently.Therefore it is possible to switch this function off.<br />
Turn on the backlighting:<br />
• Press keys 7 and 9 simultaneously for<br />
5 seconds.<br />
– The Standby light will blink twice to confirm<br />
the backlighting is enabled.<br />
• Everytime you press a key on the remote the<br />
backlighting will switch on. After 5 seconds it<br />
will switch off automatically<br />
Turn off the backlighting:<br />
• Press keys 1 and 9 simultaneously for<br />
5 seconds.<br />
– The Standby light will blink twice to confirm<br />
the backlighting is disabled.<br />
• The backlighting will not switch on anymore<br />
when you press a key.<br />
Reset a key<br />
To delete a learned function or a macro from a key and restore the original<br />
function, do the following:<br />
1 Select the correct device mode in which you want to restore a key.<br />
2 Press the keys 1 and 6 simultaneously for<br />
5 seconds until the label of the selected mode<br />
blinks twice and remains lit.<br />
3 Press keys 9, 9 and 6, in that order.<br />
Instructions for use<br />
4 Press the key you want to reset twice.<br />
– The label of the selected mode blinks twice to confirm that the learned<br />
code or macro is deleted and the original function is restored.<br />
