Je zet iets in het meervoud als het om meer dan één mens, dier of ding gaat.
Als je een Engels woord in het meervoud schrijft, zet je er een – s achter. Die – s schrijf je altijd vast aan
het woord:

Football is a team sport with two teams of eleven players and a ball. The game is played on a grass field.
There are two goals ; one for each team. The players try to get the ball into the other team’s goal. The
goalkeepers are the only players that can touch the ball with their hands or arms . The team which scores
the most goals wins.
