Nederlands gebruik je dan vaak: ik ga / wij gaan. Ik ga mijn vriend bellen.<br />
Je gebruikt am / is / are going to :<br />
• Als je duidelijk wilt maken dat je iets van plan bent: I am going to eat this sandwich.<br />
• Als je een voorspelling doet die gebaseerd is op feiten: Look at the sky. It is going to rain.<br />
I am going to call my friend. Ik ga mijn vriend bellen.<br />
You are going to lose this game. Jij / u gaat dit spel verliezen.<br />
