Relevance:<br />
1. To what extent has relevance been a selection criterion?<br />
The objective of this first question is to assess whether the relevance of the project is<br />
sought from the beginning of the process in relation with the two FINEXPO’s goals. This<br />
implies that the assessment focuses on the procedures and the means implemented to<br />
ensure the selection.<br />
1.1. Relevance for development is positively assessed<br />
1.1.1. Number of files / number of files observed taking into<br />
consideration the national / sectoral development strategies<br />
1.1.2. Number of files / total taking into consideration the Belgian<br />
development strategies<br />
1.1.3. Number of files / total taking into consideration the quality of<br />
the governance<br />
1.1.4. Number of files / total including environmental impact<br />
assessment<br />
1.1.5. Number of files / total including an assessment of the local<br />
capacities<br />

2. To what extent is the potential sustainability of the projects taken into<br />
account?<br />
Question 2 and 3 follow the same objective as question 1 being more specific on two<br />
aspects of the relevance for development, the second one – environmental sustainability<br />
– being explicitly required by the OECD guidelines.<br />
