NEAR TO THE ONE DAY PEACE – THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE<br />
Five years after the successful Expert Meeting, the first ’International Conference Science, Technology, and Peace on Conversion and<br />
Transformation‘, the <strong>Eindhoven</strong> Peace Centre Foundation organizes a second one in the frame of urgent themes.<br />
The 2011 Peace Conference gives the opportunity for dealing with the burning questions of ending resources, one-sided over/<br />
consumption, ecological, economic, political, social, cultural, and religious systems, and a far spread diversity in an age of globalization<br />
and world-engulfing information technology, where extreme poverty, health, justice, and emancipation problems as well as individual<br />
and inner peace demand more and more attention.<br />
In September 2011 we expect again, beside a number of committed keynote addresses, creative and vital contributions to the burning<br />
theme of this conference, to be held in the Brain Port City <strong>Eindhoven</strong>, the ’City of Light’ in The Netherlands.<br />
Everybody, particularly scientists and technologists, supporting the different paths towards World / Peace, is kindly invited to present his<br />
or her fundamental ideas and practical proposals at the International Conference on Science, Technology, and Peace with as main<br />
theme From Consumption-Driven Societies and a Fundamentally Divided World Towards a Globe of Sustainability, Justice, and Peace’<br />
Potential speakers and poster presenters are kindly invited to send an abstract of their paper and/or poster - as soon as possible.<br />
