Als bij de verdenking op SLE LE-cellen in pleuravocht worden aangetoond
hoeft geen aanvullende diagnostiek te worden verricht.
Bij verdenking op SLE kunnen ANA-titers in pleuravocht en serum de
diagnose SLE ondersteunen.
