Of course that isn’t true.
There is a big difference being religious or spiritual and being a follower of Christ.
Rom. 3:10-12 tells it this way As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who
understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together
become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.
That is the reason why God, the Father, send his Son, Jesus Christ, to become a human being and live
between us on earth.
The very well known verses, Joh. 3:16 and 17 states it this way: For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him
might be saved.
Rom. 3:19-26 tells the story of the Gospel this way: Now we know that whatever the law says, it says
to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become
guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the
law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being
witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ,
to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory
of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God
set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in
His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the
present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in
Jesus.
Step 5
Every person WHO except Jesus Christ as the Saviour WHO gave his Life on a cross to pay the full
price for your sins, and told it to God in a prayer, can know for certain today, God is telling you: You
are My child and you are saved.
Listen to what God is promising us in Joh. 1:12: But as many as received Him, to them He gave the
right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name…
Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord? Do you believe He died
for your sins and was erected on the third day?
