The tarsier is an unusual mammal
that lives in Southeast asia, in rainforests and bamboo
forests in the Philippines and Indonesia. the
tarsier is arboreal, spending its entire life in trees. It
even sleeps and gives birth clinging to a tree trunk.
they are small animals (90 mm to 160 mm and
70 g to 165 g) with enormous eyes. each eyeball
is approximately 16 mm in diameter and is as large
as their entire brain. their slender tail is from 20 cm
to 25 cm long. their fingers are elongated, with the
third finger being about the same length as the upper
arm.
tarsiers are the only entirely carnivorous primate
