Important instructions GB ATTENTION All work on the mains must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The dimmer heats up during operation due to the fact that a portion of the installed load is converted, as power dissipation, into heat. The rated power output stated applies to installation of the dimmer in a solid stone wall. If the dimmer is installed in walls made of gas concrete, wood or gypsum plaster, the maximum connected load must be reduced by 20 %. The installed load must always be reduced if several dimmers are installed one above the other or other heat sources lead to further heating up. In intensely heated rooms, the maximum installed load must be reduced in accordance with the diagram (see Fig. 3). With an ambient temperature of 50 °C, the permissible installed load decreases to 57 % and, with an ambient temperature of 60 °C, to 28 %.
Important instructions GB CAUTION The installed load must be appropriately reduced since, otherwise, there is a risk that the device will be destroyed. Disposal All packaging materials and equipment from <strong>Busch</strong>-<strong>Jaeger</strong> are furnished with labels and seals of inspection for proper disposal. Dispose of packaging materials, electrical appliances and their electronic components through authorized collecting points or waste disposal companies.
