Maint<strong>en</strong>ance<br />

Access to the filter<br />

The hood is equipped with on or two metal grease<br />

filters, which, according to the frequ<strong>en</strong>cy of use,<br />

have to be cleaned at least every month.<br />

Remove the grease filters by pulling down the two<br />

stainless steel hinged lower cover plates at the<br />

front side, which covers the grease filters. Pull the<br />

two metal grease filters down by the little hook.<br />

Cleaning the filter:<br />

• in the dishwasher<br />

• manually: in a hot solution of water and a<br />

liquid deterg<strong>en</strong>t. Rince and allow to dry completely<br />

Important! The previous instructions need to<br />

be followed. If not an increased fire hazard may<br />

occur.<br />

Maint<strong>en</strong>ance of the hood<br />

Please allow the lights to cool down suffici<strong>en</strong>tly<br />

before cleaning the hood.<br />

Use a soft, wet cloth and a mild deterg<strong>en</strong>t to clean<br />

the hood.<br />

Never use aggressive, abrasive deterg<strong>en</strong>ts or<br />

sponges. Bleach will damage stainless steel.<br />

The stainless steel surfaces can be treated with<br />

<strong>Novy</strong> Inoxcleaner (906.060) after cleaning.<br />

Replacing the lamps<br />

Please allow the lights to cool down suffici<strong>en</strong>tly<br />

before touching them. Cover and protect delicate<br />

surfaces underneath the hood wh<strong>en</strong> changing<br />

lamps<br />

Replace the lamps:<br />

• attach the suction device to the lamp<br />

• pull towards you<br />

• put a new lamp in place using the same suction<br />

device<br />

The models 661 and 662 have 2 lamps of the<br />

following type12V/20W/∅35/GU4/38°, model 691<br />

and 692 have 4 of them.<br />

Total <strong>en</strong>ergy consumption with lightning:<br />

661: 140 W<br />

662: 240 W<br />

691: 180 W<br />

692: 280 W<br />

Electrical connection<br />

Electrical output: electrical cord + plug with<br />

ground. To be plugged into socket with ground.<br />

Check for compatibility with information on type<br />

plate (behind filter).<br />

Socket must be within reach.<br />

Changes or replacem<strong>en</strong>t of the electrical cord<br />

should be performed by a professional only.<br />
