In layer feeding, the effectiveness of a feed mix elaborated on a basis of feedstuffs produced in organicfarming was compared with a feedstuffs mix of an analogous composition and value produced in conventionalfarming. By feeding out an organic farming feedstuffs mix to layers the laying intensity reached on average 91.90%,egg mass was 57.92 g, feed consumption for 1 kg of egg mass production was 2.27 kg, and costs of feed for 1 kg eggmass production was 0.39 LVL. Feeding out the organic farming feedstuffs mix to layers did not influence the layers’productivity but improved the egg quality compared to the mix based on conventionally produced feedstuffs.
