RECURSOS HUMANOS’ hosted by the Colegio de Secretarios, Interventores y Tesoreros de Administración
Local in Valencia. He was invited speaker at the 4th CONGRESO DE EXCELENCIA EN LA GESTIÓN EN LAS
ADMINISTRACIONES PÚBLICAS held in Bilbao from May 17 to 18. He was also a speaker at the workshop
PSYCHOLOGY EDUCATION AND TRAINING: A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE celebrated in Jena-Dornburg
(Germany) from May 23 to 26. Additionally, July 12-13, he was guest speaker at the INTERNATIONAL
CONGRESS OF WORK AND ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY held in Braga (Portugal). He also gave a
conference at the 1st ACIDE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS-3rd INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL OF
ENTERPRENEURSHIP (ISSE), celebrated in Salamanca from July 18 to 20. He was invited to give a lecture at
the 2012 INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS IN PSYCHOLOGY celebrated in Cape Town (South Africa) from July 22
to 27. He presented two papers at the international seminar NUEVOS PARADIGMAS PARA LA GESTIÓN
PERSONAL Y EL CAMBIO ORGANIZACIONAL, organized in Lima (Peru) on September 11-12. He was invited
speaker at the 1st CONGRESO NACIONAL Y ANDINO DE PSICOLOGÍA ORGANIZACIONAL Y DEL TRABAJO
held in Iquique (Chile) from del 11 al 13 de October. On October 17, he gave a speech at the JORNADAS DEL
PROGRAMA DEL POSGRADO EN ADMINISTRACIÓN DE EMPRESAS DE LA UNIVERSITY PRESBISTARIANA
MAKENZIE celebrated in São Paulo (Brazil). Also in this city he presented a paper at the 3rd LATIN AMERICAN
PSYCHOLOGY CONGRESS which took place in October from 17 to 20. Finally, on December 12 he presented
two papers at the EUROPEAN NUCLEAR CONFERENCE in Manchester.
Francisco Pérez took part in the workshop CAMBIO DE MODELO PRODUCTIVO Y UNIVERSITY, INNOVACIÓN
Y SOSTENIBILIDAD organized by the National Distance Education University (UNED) in Madrid on January 31.
On February 28, he gave a speech on R&D at the JORNADA DEL FÒRUM VIVES ‘LAS UNIVERSIDADES DEL
ARCO MEDITERRÁNEO: EL TIEMPO DE LAS ALIANZAS’ hosted by the University Jaume I in Castellón (Spain).
On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the electronic journal Valenciaplaza.com, he gave the conference
ESCENARIOS POSIBLES PARA SUPERAR LA CRISIS on March 1. March 22, he participated in the Initiative
‘CÁMARAS POR EL ARCO MEDITERRÁNEO ESPAÑOL-DESARROLLO DEL ARCO MEDITERRÁNEO ESPAÑOL:
TRAYECTORIA Y PERSPECTIVAS’ organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia. On April 19, he took
part in the V CICLO DE CONFERENCIAS DE ECONOMÍA INTERNACIONAL 2012 organized by the Chair of
International Economics of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Zaragoza with a speech
entitled LA COMPETITIVIDAD ESPAÑOLA: ESCENARIOS PARA DESPUÉS DE LA CRISIS. In Seville on May 3,
he gave a conference titled SALIR DE LA CRISIS: LOS DESAFÍOS DE LA COMPETITIVIDAD which was arranged
by the Economic Observatory of Andalusia. He was also invited to give the conference LA FINANCIACIÓN
PÚBLICA DE LA COMUNITAT VALENCIANA Y SUS CONSECUENCIAS ECONÓMICAS organized by the Club
Jaume I in Valencia on May 31. On June 5 he participated in the debate CLAUSTRE OBERT ‘FINANCIACIÓN
AUTONÓMICA Y CRISIS ECONÓMICA’ held in the Centre Cultural La Nau of the University of Valencia. He was
a speaker at the summer course organized by the Complutense University ‘EL GOBIERNO Y LA FINANCIACION
DE LA UNIVERSITY ESPAÑOLA’ hosted by San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid) on July 2. On July 11, he
presented a paper at the JORNADA DE PROFESORADO DE LA FACULTAD DE PSICOLOGÍA, CIENCIAS DE LA
EDUCACIÓN Y EL DEPORTE BLANQUERNA organized by the University Ramon Llull in Barcelona and, on July
25, a paper entitled El sector público: reformas y mejoras para el crecimiento at the 31st Summer Course of the
University of the Basque Country ‘REFORMAS ESTRUCTURALES DE LA ECONOMÍA: CRECIMIENTO E
INVERSIÓN EN UN ENTORNO DE AUSTERIDAD’, celebrated in San Sebastian. He was a speaker at the Ernest
Lluch Seminar-UIMP Summer Course ‘REFORMAS Y CONSENSOS EN LA ECONOMÍA ESPAÑOLA DESDE LOS
PACTOS DE LA MONCLOA’ held in Santander on August 1. He also presented a paper at the 2nd WORLD
KLEMS CONFERENCE which took place at Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts) from 9 to 10
August. On October 17, he was a speaker at the 3rd CONFERENCE ‘FEDERALISMO Y DESCENTRALIZACIÓN
EN ESPAÑA’ organized by REDE (University of Vigo) in Santiago de Compostela. On October 26, he presented a
paper at the ENCUENTRO UIMP-CÁTEDRA ERNEST LLUCH ‘LA CRISIS ECONÓMICA. HISTORIA, ECONOMÍA
E INSTITUCIONES’ hosted by the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Zaragoza.
Additionally, on October 30, he gave the opening speech of the academic year 2012-2013 in EDEM with the
title LA SUPERACIÓN DE LA CRISIS Y LA TRANSFORMACIÓN DEL TEJIDO PRODUCTIVO at the Cultural
Center of Bancaja in Valencia. On November 16, he presented a paper during the seminar OPORTUNIDADES Y
DESAFÍOS DE LA UNIVERSITY ESPAÑOLA DEL SIGLO XXI, organized by the Caja Extremadura Foundation and
the University of Extremadura. Furthermore, he was a speaker at the 5th NATIONAL CONGRESS ‘AUDITORÍA
EN EL SECTOR PÚBLICO: AUDITORÍA, CUENTAS PÚBLICAS Y CRISIS ECONÓMICA’ celebrated in Madrid on
Scientific meetings 71
