DEL APORTE DE LAS TIC Y LA HETEROGENEIDAD SECTORIAL AL CRECIMIENTO EN AMÉRICA LATINA held
at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago
(Chile) on December 11.
Joaquín Maudos participated in the JORNADA SOBRE LA REFORMA DEL SISTEMA BANCARIO ESPAÑOL
hosted at the University of Zaragoza on January 25. He was a speaker at the 2012 FORINVEST FORUM
celebrated in Valencia on February 15. On March 14 he gave a lecture in Valencia on the restructuring process
of the savings bank sector, in an event organized by the International Finance Chair of the University of
Valencia. On the same day he was a speaker at a seminar on the situation of the financial and banking sector
programmed in the BANKING MANAGEMENT MASTER COURSE organized by the University-Enterprise
Foundation of Valencia (ADEIT). He also participated in the round table debate at the JORNADAS DE
PENSAMIENTO ECONÓMICO CONTEMPORÁNEO MÁS ALLÁ DE LA GRAN RECESIÓN, arranged by the
Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia and the Cañada Blanch Foundation, in Valencia, March 28.
Additionally, he was a speaker at the OBSERVATORIO ECONÓMICO-FINANCIERO CIFF: EL SECTOR
BANCARIO ESPAÑOL celebrated at CIFF’s headquarters in Madrid, April 16, and at the CONFERENCIA SOBRE
RIESGO PAÍS EN VALENCIA, held in Valencia, April 26. He presented a paper at the REGIONAL SCIENCE
ASSOCIATION GLOBAL CONFERENCE 2012: SUSTAINING REGIONAL FUTURES which took place in Beijing,
from 24 to 27 June. On October 10, he was a speaker at the JORNADA DE DEBATE SOBRE
DESAPALANCAMIENTO Y CRECIMIENTO EN ESPAÑA, organized by the Fundación de Estudios Financieros y
Bolsas y Mercados Españoles at Madrid Stock Exchange. On October 31, he was discussant at the round table
debate LA IMPORTANCIA DEL AHORRO EN TIEMPOS DE CRISIS arranged by the International Finance Chair-
Banco Santander hosted by the Faculty of Economics de la University of Valencia. He also gave a lecture on the
ENTREPRENEUR DAY organized by IMPIVA and CEEI in Valencia, November 15. On November 29, he was a
speaker at the UNIVERSITAT D'HIVERN D'ONTINYENT: LA CRISIS ECONÓMICA Y EL RESCATE FINANCIERO:
¿QUO VADIS ESPAÑA? hosted at the University of Valencia in the Cultural Centre of Caixa Ontinyent in
Onteniente (Valencia)
José Manuel Pastor participated in the JORNADA TÉCNICA DE LA RED OTRI SOBRE LA TRANSFERENCIA DE
CONOCIMIENTO EN LA INVESTIGACIÓN PÚBLICA: DATOS DISPONIBLES Y DATOS DESEABLES which took
place at the Vicálvaro Campus (Madrid) of the Rey Juan Carlos University on February 8. On February 16, he
gave the seminar PROPUESTAS METODOLÓGICAS PARA LA ESTIMACIÓN DE LA CONTRIBUCIÓN
SOCIECONOMICA REGIONAL DE UNA UNIVERSIDAD EN SU ENTORNO: EL CASO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE
EXTREMADURA at the Department of Economics of the University of Extremadura. On March 12, he
participated in the WP6 EDUCATION WORKSHOP of the INDICSER Project celebrated in London at the
National Institute of Economic and Social Research. He gave a lecture on the monetary policy in the Euro area
at the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia on May 18. He was a speaker at the III CONGRESO DE LA
ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE DERECHO Y ECONOMÍA, held at the University-Enterprise Foundation of Valencia
(ADEIT) on June 29. Additionally, he was a speaker at the XXI JORNADAS DE LA ASOCIACIÓN DE ECONOMÍA
DE LA EDUCACIÓN in Oporto on 5 and 6 June and at the INDICSER END-OF-PROJECT CONFERENCE which
took place in Budapest on 27 and 28 September. Furthermore, he presented a paper at the CONGRESO
NACIONAL PARA EL IMPULSO DE EMPLEABILIDAD DE LOS JÓVENES UNIVERSITARIOS, held in Córdoba on
October17.
Juan Pérez participated in the KICK-OFF MEETING of the European project ICT R&D MACRO DATA
COLLECTION & ANALYSIS, organized by the European Commission’s Institute for Prospective Technological
Studies (IPTS), in Seville on March 12.
José M.ª Peiró presented a paper at the ENCUENTRO PROFESIONAL DE LA PSICOLOGÍA DE CASTILLA Y
LEÓN celebrated in Valladolid (Spain) in February. On March 16-17 he was a speaker at the workshop
EUROPEAN ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN WOP hosted by Laboratoire Epsylon in Montpellier (France). In Lisbon,
from April 18 to 21, he presented a paper at the 1st CONGRESSO NACIONAL DA ORDEM DOS PSICOLOGOS
PORTUGUESES. He was also a speaker at the 5th ENTRETIENS FRANCOPHONES DE LA PSYCHOLOGIE held
in Boulogne-Billancourt (France) from April 19 to 21. He presented a paper and took part in 4 round tables
debates at the 27th ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE SOCIETY FOR INDUSTRIAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL
