BobinaitëSummaryRaspberries of seven cultivars Beskid, Canby, Willamette, Peresvet, Nawojka,Novokitajevskaja, Volnica were investigated at the Lithuanian Institute of Horticulturein 2002-2005 and the<strong>ir</strong> berry quality was evaluated. The berries of cultivars Beskid,Canby and Willamette were the biggest ones – 2.01-2.38 g. The berries of cultivar Canbywere distinguished for the biggest amount of dry matter and dry soluble solids(respectively 12.5% and 15.2%), the berries of cultivar Willamette accumulated thebiggest amount of ascorbic acid (27.80 mg 100 g -1 ), Peresvet – of organic acids (2.20%).The bigger amounts of sugars were established in the berries of cultivarsNovokitajevskaja (6.38%) and Volnica (6.55%). The berries of cultivars Willamette andBeskid were distinguished for the external attractiveness (4.46 and 4.18 scores) and theberries of cultivars Novokitajevskaja and were Canby distinguished for the best taste(4.26 and 4.25 scores).Key words: raspberry, chemical composition, sensual evaluation, cultivar.80
