All wood ash ratessignificantly increased potato tuber yield (in 2003 F act.= 19.05 > F tabl.0.1= 5.41,in 2004 F act.= 12.02 > F tabl.0.1= 6.99). The highest ash rate was the most effectivecomparing to the other wood ash rates. Potato tuber yields in treatments,where 4 and 6 t ha -1 of wood ash were applied, were similar (16.5 and 17.1 t ha -1respectively), and this difference wasn’t significant.
