<strong>Juoda</strong>, the small river of 35 km length, is<br />
the right feeder stream of Nevezis. <strong>Juoda</strong><br />
flows in the teritory of Panevezys region from<br />
Sauth to North. Headwaters of the river are in<br />
the lake of Juodis. The further trajectory leads<br />
to the town of Vadokliai, hamlets of Jotainiai<br />
and Katinai. Nearby Velzys <strong>Juoda</strong> debauches<br />
into Nevezis. There are 2 ponds arranged in<br />
the river <strong>Juoda</strong> – Jotainiai pond and Velzys<br />
pond. Aside the banks of <strong>Juoda</strong> there are<br />
objects of old village and culture heritage. The<br />
watercourse of the river had been regulated<br />
more than once. The bigger affluents that<br />
<strong>Juoda</strong> has are these: left ones - Saltynas,<br />
Obelis, Apteka, right ones – Kernave, Gelezis,<br />
Virsne.<br />
<strong>Juoda</strong> crosses the road of Ramygala-<br />
Taujenai and the highway Vilnius-Panevezys.<br />
