kraujyje. Dėl to 10 dienų arba ilgiau vartojant maisto<br />

papildus, kuriuose yra Lepidium meyenii veikliosios<br />

medžiagos, reikia dažniau atlikti sportininkų bendro<br />

kraujo vaizdo tyrimus.<br />

3. Per 20 dienų trukusį maisto papildo Black Devil<br />

vartojimo laikotarpį sportininkų kraujyje statistiškai<br />

reikšmingai padidėjo kreatinkinazės koncentracija,<br />

o kreatinino kiekis turėjo tendenciją didėti. Pasireiškė<br />

šlapalo, cholesterolio koncentracijos mažėjimo<br />

tendencija, o bilirubino kiekis sumažėjo statistiškai<br />

patikimai. Testosterono koncentracija per pirmąsias<br />

10 Black Devil papildo vartojimo dienų turėjo tendenciją<br />

didėti, o toliau dar 10 dienų vartojant šį papildą<br />

testosterono koncentracija kraujyje daugiau nedidėjo.<br />

Vartojant Black Devil per pirmąsias 10 dienų taip pat<br />

buvo nustatytas kortizolio koncentracijos didėjimas<br />

tiriamųjų kraujyje.<br />

Food supplement Black Devil produced by Germany<br />

Company “Almondi” is a popular one among the<br />

number of food supplements consumed by athletes. Its<br />

basic component is a natural plant Lepidium meyenii<br />

(Maca). The plant was used in the folk medicine to<br />

cure hormone deficit, to treat liver, kidneys, ureters,<br />

and cardiovascular system diseases for many centuries<br />

already. Despite the fact that this food supplement<br />

is more and more consumed by athletes for toning,<br />

relieving fatigue, improving potency and fertility,<br />

perfecting metabolism, normalizing the function<br />

of autonomic nervous system, improving immune<br />

condition of the organism, strengthening cardiovascular<br />

system, increasing endurance when oxygen deficit<br />

appears, and etc. but still there is no adequate scientific<br />

substantiation on that.<br />

The aim of the research was to establish the influence<br />

of food supplement Black Devil on athletes’ physical<br />

work capacity, functional capacity and morphological<br />

and biochemical blood composition.<br />

16 athletes of age 20-22 were analysed. Testees for<br />

20 days period consumed 4 capsules of food supplement
