Aqua Energy- A moderate to vigorous aqua workout including cardiovascular, toning, andstretching exercises for any ability level. Water workouts are low to no impact. Every exercisecan be modified to fit the needs of any individual. Using the resistance of the waterand pool equipment can increase your heart rate while working almost all muscle groups.Aqua Pump – This high energy class offers a combination of strength training and cardioendurance. Participants will benefit from doing multiple types of intervals, pyramidsets, as well as steady state training. There is always a focus on increased strength withbands, buoys, paddles and fluid resistance.Aqua Happy Hour - Come join us and unwind! Work out and play in this low impactcardio workout designed to tone your muscles using a variety of equipment. Relieve thestress of the day and stretch your muscles in a fun, refreshing way!Aqua Wake-Up – Jump start your day with a high energy cardio and toning workout. This class incorporatesvarious types of aqua equipment to help tone and wake up to a new you. All levels welcome.Dick’s Daybreakers– This class includes a dynamic warm-up, cardio, strength training,deep water cardio, abs and stretching. This class is designed to work to your level of fitness.Great way to start your day.Every”BODY” Aqua– A class for all fitness levels, this is a complete workout using avariety of resistance equipment. Learn to strengthen and stabilize the “core” to improveposture, balance and muscle tone. Workout to the “oldies” and maybe even “a splash” offun, energizing Latin rhythms! Working out in the water should be fun, effective and easyto do-leaving you with a “feel good” experience.Power Aqua - Looking for a variety? Then this class is for you. Each class is different andwill challenge you through the use of high intensive aerobics and cross training. Eachclass will utilize different toning, stretching, and sculpting activities using the water’snatural resistance or water resistance equipment. This class is designed to work to yourlevel of fitness. Participants should be comfortable in the water.Hydrocise - Need to spice up your exercise regimen? Water is very suitable for all fitnesslevels. Whether you are coming back from an injury or are looking for an environmentthat surrounds you, literally, with resistance. Make this cardiovascular & strength trainingclass as easy or hard as you need it to be. No swimming skills are necessary & theinstructor can show you how to modify moves to meet your ability.Rowdybody Aqua– Come join us for an hour of fun and work. This class is designedto give you an extended cardio workout, 35-45 min. Each class also includes a warm-upand warm down as well as targets specific muscle groups while getting your grove on.H2O Fusion - This class uses a mix of various equipment including belts, Aqua horses,noodles, buoys, bands and more. You’ll have to come see what’s in store for you each day.Good for all levels! H2O Fusion utilizes both deep and shallow water at members’ discretion.Classes will vary and keep you guessing!Ultimate H2O– Looking for a dynamic intense workout? This will keep you begging for more. Usingthe resistance of the water you will be able to build muscle with no impact and have fabulous results!Weekend Aqua Splash– Come check out all we have to offer. Saturday is designed tomix it up with our entire aquatics staff. Each weekend a different instructor will give youa workout. Be prepared for a variety of intensive cardio conditioning, strength training,sculpting, interval training, and plyometrics. This class can be modified for all fitness levels.Family Swim – These times are when lifeguards are on deck and you are able to swimwith your child. If your child is over 7 years old, you may workout while your child is swimming.Adults must remain in the facility. Children under 7 years old must be accompaniedby an adult at all times. All children under 14 years old must be walked through the lockerroom by an adult. NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY during the fall and winter schedulesLap Swimming - State-of-the-art competition pool, 8 lanes, 25 yards. Deck level guttersystem designed for speed. The waves simply spill over the sides of the lap pool rather thanbouncing back into the pool. Lap swimming is open to members 14 yrs and older during poolhours. Please follow lap swimming etiquette. Three lanes are always open for lap swimmers(east lanes 6, 7 & 8). Lanes may be used by more than one swimmer at a time. There aretwo additional lanes available in the Aquatic Pool during times when other programs are notbeing offered. This pool is a shorter distance and kept at a warmer temperature.Swimming Lessons - <strong>In</strong> <strong>Motion</strong> <strong>Fitness</strong> has their own swim school, North Valley SwimSchool. We have swim lessons for all ages and all levels. Our school specializes in parent/tot lessons. We offer swim lessons year round and is the only accredited swim school inNorthern California. For more info or to schedule swim lessons call 345-6707.Lap Swimming Etiquette• If a lane is open, you may jump into that lane.• When all the lanes have at least one swimmer, select the lane with the person swimmingapproximately your speed. Notify swimmer before jumping into thatlane that you would like to share the lane.• With two (2) swimmers in one lane, the swimmers may opt to keep to oneside or circle swim (swim counterclockwise). Keep to the right at all timeswhen circle swimming.• With two or more swimmers per lane, it is recommended to circle swim.• If a swimmer behind you looks as though she or he may overtake you onthe next lap, stop and wait at the wall for the swimmer to pass you.• The lap pool is for lap swimming. It is not a pool to play in.•Lap swimmers must be 14 years or older.Quiet Adult Only Water Walking & Swim– Aquatic Pool is for Adults only to walkor swim quietly without the splashing and craziness of children. No children allowed inAquatics Pool. Aqua vest available.Chico Masters – Designed for the swimming enthusiasts of all levels of fitness and ability.Technical Stroke instruction and supervised workouts are given to swimmers of allability levels whether swimming for fitness or to compete at the regional to nationallevel. Must be 19 years old. (Additional Fee)Chico AquaJets Swim Team– The Chico AquaJets is a year round swim team run bythe Chico Area Swim Association, a non-profit organization under sanction of USA SWIM-MING, <strong>In</strong>c. Requirements for participation are minimal: swimmers must be at least fiveyears old and be able to complete 25 yards freestyle, one lap of the pool. (Additional Fee)MiniJets– MiniJets is a fun year round program for swimmers age three to eight yearsold. Great way to prepare for the AquaJets.
