WORD STUDY<br />

I. Individuatio. The development of the individual from the universal<br />

or the determination of the individual in the general. The principle<br />

of individuation is variously held to be matter, form, and particularity<br />

of the subject in time and space; personal or individual<br />

existence.<br />

2. Intellectivus. As applied to knowledge the term means that<br />

knowledge which is obtained by the intellectual processes of abstraction<br />

and comparison independent of the senses.
