45. Comparison of adjectives and adverbs. The comparative of adjectives<br />

is formed by adding -ior (neuter, -ius) to the base of the<br />

usually formed by adding to the base of the positive -issimus for<br />

adjectives ending in -s or -x (adverbs -issime), -rirnus for adjectives<br />
