of each taxon is shown in Appendix B.
The countries in which a taxon is recorded are
shown by a three character abbreviation. These
abbreviations are interpreted in Appendix A.
Country abbreviations are listed for each taxon in
alphabetic order of country name, not abbreviation,
so, for example, CBS (Cape Province, South
Africa) comes before CAR (Central African
Republic). The numbers in brackets after each
country (and after synonyms) are the literature
references, which are translated to ‘author+year’
