More beautiful than a dream: The Lake Festivals on Tegernsee When the Tegernsee Valley celebrates the lake festivals, visitors and tourists are welcome to join in: the lake festivals in Rottach-Egern, Tegernsee and Bad Wiessee offer culinary delights, shows, brass band music, traditional knee-slapping dances, bouncy castles and a large children’s program. What if the weather is not so great? No problem, in that case the festivals are postponed. The highpoint of every festival is always the fantastic nightly firework display. In Bad Wiessee there is no lake festival this year, but from the end of June to the beginning of July festivities for the 100th anniversary of “BAD” Wiessee will take place.
