ALEXANDRA “ALEX” DEL

ALEXANDRA “ALEX” DEL MORAL MEALER Why should Harris County voters should vote for Alex del Moral Mealer in the run off. VIDAL MARTINEZ Why should Harris County voters should vote for Vidal Martinez in the run off. Because we may never get another chance to restore our County and way of life, the damage inflicted of another 4 years of these policies will be too great, This is the time we stand our ground and fight. And that is why I have decided to disrupt not only my life but my family’s life (I am very happily married have two young children), because I know that I can not only beat Lina, but also when in office, enact the meaningful change that is needed. And I don’t have to just speculate about it, let’s just look what I have done, In this primary, I was outspent 3:1 and despite being a political outsider – with no name ID, no funding, no insider relationships, I beat the establishment and I beat them by a wide enough margin and I did this by building a broad coalition that united behind my campaign: Over a dozen law enforcement groups have trusted me to tackle crime, and proud to announce that Houston fire has also endorsed my campaign I have the overwhelming support of the grassroots, a board coalition of business leaders to include Mattress Mac and I am the only candidate that has the support of numerous City and County Officials. It’s that same ability to lead and organize, giving people something to vote for instead of just something to vote against, that creates the energy or fire in the belly needed to mobilize and take our County back. So let’s about my qualifications. First, I am a political outsider, which means I am unencumbered. I have built my career through military service and excelling in the oil & gas financial industry. I started my career at West Point where I spent 5 years in the Army bomb squad and I developed a mission mindset, through my time in service from building a company of 40 bomb techs from scratch to deploy as part of the surge in Afghanistan. Serving in Afghanistan, where I learned to be calm in a crisis and perform under pressure while disarming roadside bombs and I also learned to lead a large organization, where in my 20’s, I was leading over 600 individuals spread across 40 locations. After honorably completing my military service, I went to Harvard and completed my law and business degree and have spent the last 6 years working in oil & gas finance, where I left my position as a Vice President for Wells Fargo. I have the character, energy, and experience to put our County back on track and I hope to earn your vote. I humbly ask for your vote because I will restore law and order to our county so the spouses of law enforcement officers are no longer scared their loved one may not come home from work. As a former federal prosecutor, you will have a Judge who understands what law enforcement needs to keep our people safe. You will have no bigger friend or advocate for you than me. I will bring a proven track record of service to our community. I have worked tens of thousands of hours serving in all areas of Harris County such as Commissioner of the Port of Houston Authority, the Chairman of the Transportation Committee for the Greater Houston Partnership, Chairman of the State Bar of Texas, longtime Director at Methodist Hospital, UH Regent, Chairman of Open Door Mission and much more. I will restore integrity to Harris County and work hard to make our home the best it can be. I will never take your vote or your support for granted. We can work together to save our beloved Harris County. As I write to you, the brave blue who put your life at risk to save your neighbors, I am inspired by your sacrifice for our community. I have never sought political office until now. I am running to serve you and all the people of Harris County. I am a husband, father and grandfather, and I want to help you save lives. I don’t want your spouses worried you won’t return home. I pledge to do everything possible to restore law and order in Harris County so we can stop this evil crime wave. Beginning as a federal prosecutor, I’ve spent over four decades working in the legal system. I know how to repair this broken criminal justice system, and that’s why all four living Republican U.S. Attorneys from this area have endorsed me. I pledge to fully fund law enforcement, give you raises, and listen to you as we implement policies to make Harris County safe. I will bring decades of valuable experience and informed decision-making when it comes to healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, and other county projects. I previously served as Commissioner of the Port of Houston Authority, Transportation Chair of the Greater Houston Partnership, and Chairman of the Open Door Mission. I have deep roots in our community, and I know how to produce results. Before the primary election, the candidates for judge saw each other a lot and were able to see how we both act on stage and behind the scenes. I am honored to have 5 out of 7 of the other candidates for Harris County Judge endorsing my campaign to win the runoff and defeat County Judge Hidalgo. The My Pillow CEO, Mike Lindell, is also endorsing me because I will safeguard our election and restore election integrity. I humbly ask for your vote, and I promise you that I will fight with everything I have to send Lina Hidalgo packing. We won’t settle for just getting back to the way we were before Hidalgo’s destructive reign. We can lower taxes and make public safety outstanding if we roll up our sleeves and work hard. In the words of a great former president who also loved law enforcement, “we are going to be winning so much, you will be tired of winning.” Please vote for me and let’s make Harris County great again! 48 The BLUES POLICE MAGAZINE The BLUES POLICE MAGAZINE 49 48 The BLUES POLICE MAGAZINE The BLUES POLICE MAGAZINE 49
