AROUND THE COUNTRY C&G

AROUND THE COUNTRY C&G WHOLESALE Welcome to the newest section of the BLUES featuring our sponsors in the police supply business. This month we are proud to highlight “C & G Wholesale” located in both Houston and Dallas. When Charles was not at work, he and his wife Gail did gun-smithing, bluing and nickeling at their home for fellow Dallas officers. After countless requests to order guns, holsters, and other accessories Gail decided to officially open C&G Police Supply in 1982. In no time at all she was stocking uniforms and equipment. Charles eventually retired from the Dallas Police Department and came to work full time. This family run business expanded over the years and eventually opened a Houston location in 2000. They stock a variety of law enforcement uniform brands such as Flying Cross, 5.11, United Uniforms, Bates, and Midway hats. Both locations offer onsite alterations such as tapering, hemming, sewing patches, changing epaulets, striping pants, taking in and letting out pant waists. As we enter Police Month, keep in mind they also carry everything for your Honor Guard like Dress Coats, mourning bands, gloves, Smith & Warren badges & insignia, ascots, and shoulder cords. Most importantly, their alterations are completed same to next day. If you are looking for less formal uniform options, they offer on-site embroidery and heat press as well. Again, same to next day on most orders. They carry windbreakers and soft-shell jackets and will customize those with your agency name. They also custom make outer carrier panels to any size, color, and wording needed. They stock a large variety of duty gear brands including Safariland, Bianchi, Blackhawk, ASP, body armor, outer carriers, molle pockets, knives, and cuffs. Do not forget they offer Blue Line Glocks and other pistols. They are also a Walther Law Enforcement Distributor. After recent personnel changes, they have nothing but smiling faces. One of the few places you are still greeted when you enter and have salespeople ready to help. Both locations offer a one-stop shop experience. The Houston location is located at 4930 Dacoma Rd; Ste D, Houston TX 77092. Their contact number is 713.681-2120. The Dallas location is located at 10345 Brockwood Dr, Dallas TX 75238 and their number is 214.343- 3900. Or find them online at CGWHOLE- SALE.com. Be sure to mention this ad to receive up to 40% off many of these products store wide. Online orders enter “BLUE” for coupon code. 36 The BLUES POLICE MAGAZINE The BLUES POLICE MAGAZINE 37
