MANVEL POLICE DEPARTMENT Patrol Officer The City of Manvel Police Department is looking to find qualified candidates to fill the ranks of the patrol division. The City of Manvel is a rapidly growing and diverse community. The current population is estimated at a little over 16000 and is located in the northern part of Brazoria County along the State Highway 288 corridor approximately 4 miles South of the City of Houston. The Manvel Police Department has a competitive pay structure for cities of the same size. Salary is based on experience and certification levels. • The department currently has 32 sworn positions. • 18 officers currently in patrol with 8 positions added in this fiscal budget year. • Patrol Salary: ,704.56 to ,031.84. Salary is based off experience and certification. • Certification pay • 12-hour shifts / shifts rotate every four months.
