We thought our summer edition was an appropriate opportunity for a tidy-up and makeover – and so we’ve introduced a pared-down overall design language that is fresh and one we hope enhances your enjoyment of a product whose stewardship we take seriously. As such, and as part of the redesign, we’ve refocused our existing sections under new more concise headings and made a concerted effort to ensure that the magazine you’re holding now is a beautiful visual escape and a source of enlightenment and inspiration about everything you love: extraordinary experiences, cultural insight, discovery of products that are both timely and timeless. I hope you’ll linger over these pages and keep them around a while as there is much to discern. For example, we visit a host of European enclaves that are ripe for discovery and in some cases rediscovery – places like Annecy, the Azores, Naples and Lisbon.
