Campagne di prove in laboratorio e sul campo hanno dimostrato la validità dell’utilizzo dei granulati di scoria di acciaieria nella realizzazione di manti bituminosi e conglomerati cementizi. Attualmente, l’uso di questo nuovo prodotto ad elevate caratteristiche è ormai apprezzato dagli utilizzatori finali: la granella trova stabile collocazione nei più importanti capitolati di appalto. La granella derivata dalla scoria di acciaieria prodotta negli stabilimenti di Ferriere Nord è corredata da certificazione e marchio CE in conformità alla direttiva 89/106/EEC e secondo le norme: UNI EN 13043 (aggregati per conglomerati bituminosi) e UNI EN 12620 (aggregati per conglomerati cementizi). La granella è stata registrata secondo il regolamento REACH (CE) n°1907/2006 presso l’agenzia europea delle sostanze chimiche ECHA. GAMMA E APPLICAZIONI | RANGE AND APPLICATIONS GRANELLA | STEEL SLAG Laboratory and field test campaigns have demonstrated the validity of using steel slag granules in the realization of wearing course and concrete mixtures. Presently, the use of these alternative aggregates is by now appreciated by end users: the use of granules is regularly included in the most important contract specifications. Granules resulting from the steel slag produced at Ferriere Nord are provided with CE certification and marking, in accordance with directive 89/106/EEC and with the following standards: UNI EN 13043 (aggregates for bituminous mixtures) and UNI EN 12620 (aggregates for concrete mixtures).
