STEERING WHEEL COMMANDS
This interface allows to use VAN system OEM steering wheel commands of Peugeot/
Citroen cars (built from 2002 to 2005) to control an aftermarket head-unit equipped
with remote control input.
VAN COMMAND does not include the connection harness to the OEM car wiring
but includes the connection harness to the head-unit.
For this reason VAN COMMAND must be ordered together with its specifi c head-unit
harness for the head-unit remote control input connector.
(1) RADIO CABLE (Optional)
Customised connection cable between VAN COMMAND and the aftermarket head-unit
to be selected according to head-unit brand (see RADIO CABLE table).
(2) RES/VAN IR (Optional)
Cable provided with infrared transmitter for head-unit not equipped with wired remote
control input but with infrared receiver for the remote controller.
VAN COMMAND features a special “auto-learning” function of the steering wheel
buttons of the car where it has been installed. Then VAN COMMAND can be easily
installed in a wide range of cars just following simple steps.
