STEERING WHEEL COMMANDS<br />
This interface allows to use RESISTIVE system OEM steering wheel commands to<br />
control an aftermarket head-un<strong>it</strong> equipped w<strong>it</strong>h remote control input.<br />
RES COMMAND includes the universal connection harness RES CABLE to the<br />
OEM car wairing and the connection harness to the head-un<strong>it</strong>.<br />
In add<strong>it</strong>ion to the universal CAN CABLE harness can be used a dedicated harness for<br />
each type of car. This harness is told PLUG&PLAY and must be ordered separately.<br />
Harness for the connection of RES COMMAND to the OEM wiring of the car<br />
available in 2 different options:<br />
(1) RES CABLE (Included)<br />
universal harness w<strong>it</strong>h stripped-ends to solder or crimp to OEM wiring.<br />
(2) PLUG & PLAY (from PP18 to PP34) (Optional)<br />
connection harness to be selected according to car brand and model (see RES/VAN<br />
Compatibil<strong>it</strong>y List at the end of this section).<br />
The use of Plug & Play cables, thanks to their customised connectors, allows to<br />
connect RES COMMAND w<strong>it</strong>hout error or damage possibil<strong>it</strong>y ensuring an easy, fast,<br />
safe and easily removable installation to bring the OEM system back to <strong>it</strong>s original<br />
status.<br />
Harness for the connection of RES COMMAND to the head-un<strong>it</strong> remote control<br />
connector or infrared:<br />
(3) RADIO CABLE (Optional)<br />
Customised connection cable between RES COMMAND and the aftermarket headun<strong>it</strong><br />
to be selected according to head-un<strong>it</strong> brand (see RADIO CABLE table).<br />
(4) RES/VAN IR (Optional)<br />
Cable provided w<strong>it</strong>h infrared transm<strong>it</strong>ter for head-un<strong>it</strong> not equipped w<strong>it</strong>h wired remote<br />
control input but w<strong>it</strong>h infrared receiver for the remote controller.<br />
RES COMMAND features a special “auto-learning” function of the steering wheel<br />
buttons of the car where <strong>it</strong> has been installed. Then RES COMMAND can be easily<br />
installed in a wide range of cars just following simple steps.<br />

catalogue, is available at the end of this section.<br />
