2 Wires CAN-BUS Steering Wheel Command Interface
This interface allows the use of 2 Wires CAN-BUS system OEM steering wheel
commands to control an aftermarket head-unit equipped with remote control input.
In addition to the steering wheel commands CAN 2W COMMAND allows to recreate
signals from CAN-BUS system such as: +12V ignition, Lights On, Speed, Reverse
Gear, Hand Break, OEM Parking Sensor Buzzer (Optional) output, Speed,
Aftermarket Parking Sensor Activation, provides the turn on/off of the OEM amplifi er
(AMPLI WAKE-UP) and the recovery of the Car Body Computer.
These signals can be provided to additional devices such as: amplifi ers, processors,
navigation units, back cameras, ….
CAN 2W COMMAND include the universal connection harness CAN CABLE to the
OEM car wairing and the connection harness to the head-unit.
In addition to the universal CAN CABLE harness can be used a dedicated harness for
each type of car. This harness is told PLUG&PLAY and must be ordered separately.
Harness for the connection of CAN 2W COMMAND to the car OEM wiring available
in 2 different options:
(1) CAN CABLE (Included)
universal harness with stripped-ends to solder or crimp to OEM wiring.
(2) PLUG & PLAY (from PP1 to PP17A )(Optional)
harness to be selected according to car brand and model (see Compatibility List at
the end of this section). The use of Plug & Play cables, thanks to their customised
connectors, allows to connect CAN 2W COMMAND without error or damage
possibility ensuring an easy, fast, safe and easily removable installation to bring the
OEM system back to its
original status.
Harness for the connection of CAN 2W COMMAND to the head-unit remote
control connector or infrared:
(3) RADIO CABLE (Optional)
Customised connection cable between CAN 2W COMMAND and the aftermarket
head-unit to be selected according to head-unit brand (see RADIO CABLE table).
(4) CAN IR (Optional)
Cable provided with infrared transmitter for head-unit not equipped with wiredremote
control input but with infrared receiver for the remote controller.
CAN 2W COMMAND features a special “auto-learning” function of the CAN-BUS
protocol of the car where it has been installed. Then CAN 2W COMMAND can be
easily installed in a wide range of cars just following simple steps.

of this catalogue, is available at the end of this section.
