La procedura operativa si compone, nella sua essenzialità e nella sua accezione più completa, di due passaggi fondamentali: 1. l’incisione del timpano, didatticamente nel suo quadrante antero-inferiore; 2. l’apposizione attraverso la breccia di un tubicino che, in virtù della sua conformazione, tende a stabilizzarsi nella posizione ove è stato collocato. Agli estremi della scala di complessità dell’intervento può idealmente collocarsi, dopo la paracentesi, da un lato la timpanotomia circolare con spot laser e senza tubicino, la cui efficacia temporale appare comunque “effimera” data la AUSL - Ospedale “Morgagni-Pierantoni” - Divisione di Otorinolaringoiatria - Forlì Il drenaggio TransTimpanico (DTT) 131
