Luca Galbusera
was born in Bari
January 11th,
1966 and lives
between Genoa
and Milan. After
scientific studies,
he graduated from
the European
Design
Institute of Milan in
1987. He
participated in the
competition to
rescue the Oberdan Square Daily Hotel in Milan
and took second place for a project at the
polyvalent musical research center. He was
recognized for the planning of holy objects
during the KOINE’ competition and for the
“neoeclectics objects” during “Abitare il tempo”
in Verona, 1993. For years he has developed
and applied an illustration technique to industrial
product design, rewarding objects with a
personal poetry that transcends both dreams
and reality. Since 1987 he has worked
expressly with the Architect M. Duranti. The
“Oggetti Gentili” collection was developed
exclusively for MEPRA and is the first production
collection of its kind.
Luca Galbusera è nato il giorno 11 gennaio 1966
a Bari e vive tra Genova e Milano.
Dopo gli studi scientifici, nel 1987 si diploma
all’Istituto Europeo di Design a Milano. Partecipa
al Concorso per il recupero dell’Albergo Diurno
di Piazza Oberdan a Milano e si classifica al
secondo posto, con il progetto per un centro di
ricerca musicale polivalente. È inoltre segnalato
al concorso KOINE’ per la progettazione di
oggetti sacri e al concorso “L’oggetto
neoeclettico” ad Abitare il Tempo, Verona nel
1993.
Ha sviluppato negli anni la tecnica
dell’illustrazione applicata al design del prodotto
industriale, conferendo agli oggetti rappresentati
una personale poetica, che si colloca tra sogno
e realtà.
Dal 1987 ha uno stretto rapporto di
collaborazione professionale con l’Architetto
Maurizio Duranti.
Gli articoli progettati per MEPRA, sono i primi
oggetti realizzati per la produzione industriale.
