Renato Zamberlan was born in the province of Venice in 1970.
After studying Business Economics at Ca' Foscari University in Venice,
he embarked on a journey that melded entrepreneurial activity with
creativity across various sectors, from photography to graphic design,
from art to refined publishing. He collaborates not only with the Art'è
Group and the prestigious publishing house Franco Maria Ricci but
also with multinational companies in the manufacturing and chemical
sectors. His multidisciplinary background and constant quest for new
stimuli led him to delve into the world of furniture design in 2012. He
began collaborating with Horm as the Sales Manager for the Italian
and North/South American markets. Almost simultaneously, he
contributed his creativity to the design of some of the brand's most
successful commercial products.
In 2014, he became a partner in the Group. From 2015 to mid-2022,
he served as the Artistic Director, shaping the stylistic choices that led
the company to gather prestigious awards and recognition, such as the
Red Dot Design Award (2016), the ADI Design Index (2016), second
place and a special mention at the Archiproducts Design Awards
(2016), the NY Design Award (2021), and the IF Design Award (2022).
In September 2023, he stepped down from all positions within the
Group to embark on a new entrepreneurial adventure by founding the
brand Dandy Design, where he also serves as the Creative Director,
while continuing to collaborate with Horm as a designer.

The incorporation of visual elements
drawn from Eastern culture, like
doors echoing the fusuma walls,
summons an ambiance of exquisite
Japanese grace. These rectangular
vertical panels, gracefully redefining
the room's space as they glide,
epitomize a subtle blend of function
and beauty, echoing the soul of
Japanese architectural tradition.

Technical info
Torii is a display cabinet with integrated lighting,
available in the shapes and dimensions of both a
vertical credenza and a sideboard, offering four
height variations and two width options.
Crafted with mastery, the canaletto walnut
structure stands out for its natural finish that
accentuates the deep grain and essence of the
wood. The elegantly integrated smoked glass doors
not only protect but also beautifully blend into the
ensemble, providing a luminous showcase thanks
to the internal LED lights.
Torii can stand on titanium-colored feet - h2 cm - or
on the stylish Jazz base - h12 cm - available in black,
gold, and bronze variations.
