in prodotto, materiale e allestimento.
Studio Brit van Nerven is a studio for products,
materials, and set design. Brit van Nerven (born July
13, 1984 Uden, Netherlands) graduated from Design
Academy Eindhoven in 2011. She started her own
practice in 2012 where she and her team work on
commissioned and self initiated projects. Her work
explores the relationship between form, colour and
space from a contemporary social context. It translates
her narrative way of thinking into an abstract idiom
and shows a strong dialogue between fashion and
product design. In effect, she focuses on the tension
between handicraft and industrial manufacture with
the aim to explore new possibilities for materials and
techniques in an experimental way. She uses several
different types of media such as, photography, film
and graphic design to tell the full story.
