art form, the Rayographs . He put objects on photographic
paper and exposed them to light.

Le Naturalisme
Répandu en France dans la seconde moitié du XIX siècle,
le Naturalisme est un courant littéraire selon lequel le
sujet représenté doit être décrit par l’auteur de façon impersonnelle
et objective.

Émile Zola
Né en 1840, Émile Zola est le plus important écrivain naturaliste.
Dans l’essai Le roman expérimental, Zola soutient
que le roman doit appliquer la méthode scientifique à l’analyse
de la réalité.
