racconta le sue due passioni:
montagna e fotografia
Montagna e fotografia. Tra le due, quale passione è nata
per prima?
La montagna. La vivo in tutte le stagioni sia come sportivo
che come fotografo. Non delude mai, mi regala sempre
tante emozioni.
La seconda è quindi la fotografia. Cosa si prova nell’attimo
prima dello scatto?
Si vivono momenti che fanno battere il cuore e amplificano
ancora di più la maestosità della montagna. Senti il
privilegio di vivere e catturare quell’attimo speciale.
La realtà è sempre più bella della foto.
Fotografare di giorno o di sera?
Cerco sempre la luce giusta, l’atmosfera perfetta che esalta
quel dettaglio che voglio ritrarre e che mi regala più emozioni.
Quasi sempre alba o tramonto e, perché no, anche
di notte.
Il primo scatto.
Ho fotografato con una compatta il lago di Carezza al
tramonto. Mi aveva colpito il riflesso dell’enrosadira delle
cime del Latemar nelle verdi e calme acque del lago.
Lo scatto mancato?
Non mi lascio sconfiggere: provo e riprovo, finché non
trovo la luce giusta.
Lo scatto del cuore.
È lo scatto che ha incoronato la mia avventura più estrema
ed emozionante: l’ascesa notturna in solitaria sul Gran Cir.
Con vento e nebbia fitta, non ero certo di poter sbucare
oltre le nuvole, ma una volta raggiunta la cima, mi trovavo
solo un paio di metri sopra un mare… di nuvole!

Coverfotograf Ueli Goller erzählt von seinen zwei
großen Leidenschaften Berg und Fotografie
Berg oder Fotografie, was kam zuerst? Der Berg. Ich
liebe die Berge zu jeder Jahreszeit, egal, ob als Sportler
oder als Fotograf. Sie enttäuschen mich nie und sind
immer für große Gefühle gut.
Die Fotografie kam also später.
Was fühlen Sie unmittelbar vor dem Knipsen?
Mein Herz schlägt höher, ich erlebe die majestätische
Atmosphäre der Berge noch intensiver und freue mich,
den Moment auskosten zu dürfen. Die Wirklichkeit ist
schöner als jedes Foto.
Fotografieren Sie lieber nachts oder bei Tag? Ich suche
immer nach der perfekten Atmosphäre, um ein bestimmtes
Detail zur Geltung zu bringen. Meistens fotografiere
ich um Sonnenaufgang und -untergang, manchmal auch
nachts.
Ihr erstes Bild. Der Karersee, mit einer Kompaktkamera.
Die Spiegelung des Latemar im Abendrot auf dem ruhigen,
grünen Seewasser war herrlich.
Gibt es missglückte Versuche? Ich lasse mich nicht unterkriegen
– ich probiere so lange, bis es klappt.
Ihr Lieblingsbild. Das Bild, das ich zur Krönung meines
bisher größten Abenteuers – dem nächtlichen Aufstieg auf
den Gran Cir – geschossen habe. Bei Wind und dichtem
Nebel kam ich schließlich auf dem Gipfel an…und stand
allein über einem Wolkenmeer!

Mountains or photography: which came first? Mountains.
I can be there at any time of year, whether as a
sports enthusiast or as a photographer. The mountains
never disappoint me, they always produce so many emotions.
So photography comes second. What is it like just before
you take a picture...? You experience moments that
make your heart beat faster and emphasise the majesty of
the mountains. You feel the privilege of being alive and
capturing that special moment. Reality is always more
beautiful than the photo.
Do you prefer to work during the day or in the evening?
I always look for the right light and the perfect atmosphere
for the detail I want to portray and produce yet
more emotion: almost always at sunrise or sunset, sometimes
even at night.
What was your first ever shot? I photographed Lake
Carezza at sunset with a compact camera. I was struck
by how the alpenglow on the peaks of the Latemar was
reflected in the calm green waters.
A shot that you missed? I don’t give up: I keep trying
until I find the right light.
Your favourite photo? The shot that crowned my most extreme
and exciting adventure: a solo ascent of the Gran Cir
at night, the wind blowing and in thick fog, I wasn’t sure
that I would get above the clouds, but once I reached the
top, I was just a couple of metres above a sea… of clouds!

Lungo le sponde le scuole propongono corsi per ogni
livello, garantendo servizi di noleggio con alti standard.
Il mattino è poi il momento ideale per approfittare della
calma delle acque e uscire in canoa per raggiungere la
Cascata del Ponale: il solo modo per ammirare questo
angolo di natura.

Vacanza con la famiglia, a stretto contatto con la natura
La dimensione outdoor regala emozioni e anima adrenalina,
ma è anche una proposta che coinvolge la famiglia in
avventure che fanno scoprire ai più piccini nuove passioni.
Le preparate Guide family friendly accompagnano
adulti e bambini a conoscere l’anima del Garda Trentino
tra itinerari trekking e vie ferrate, tra panorami mozzafiato
e luoghi nascosti, come il facile sentiero attrezzato
lungo la parete est del Monte Colodri, che si rivela
occasione per i principianti di avvicinarsi alla verticalità
e godere di una vista eccezionale sulla valle del Sarca. Le
numerose passeggiate e camminate sono un continuo invito
per allacciare gli scarponi ai piedi e incamminarsi in
gite in mezzo alla natura, come la passeggiata dal borgo di
Canale al lago di Tenno; conoscere la storia del territorio,
visitando i forti del Monte Brione oppure vivere la combinazione
di terra e lago lungo il sentiero Busatte-Tempesta.
Questa forestale percorre il fianco della montagna e punti
panoramici catturano la vista con spettacolari scorci di
lago. Diversi sono poi i chilometri di piste ciclabili che
accompagnano a scoprire l’entroterra del Garda Trentino
a conferma che in questo territorio si vive una vacanza

A due passi dal lago
Allontanandosi di pochi chilometri dal lago di Garda,
si raggiungono luoghi e atmosfere dolomitiche dove
svettano rocce d’alta quota e scorrono fiumi, torrenti e
cascate. La Val Rendena, Madonna di Campiglio e Pinzolo
propongono ai loro ospiti una mobilità, un’informazione
e un’organizzazione sicure e personalizzate. Un ambiente
naturale nel quale la gente del luogo, operatori del turismo,
imprenditori, professionisti e volontari di associazioni
propongono autentiche experience per avvicinarsi non
solo agli spazi aperti più belli del territorio, ma facendo
emergere il famoso genius loci.
Emozione al mattino e magia nella notte
Iniziare la giornata all’insegna del benessere, a stretto
contatto con la piacevole sensazione vellutata dei prati e

sull’erba” e il pasto del mattino è allietato da racconti
e storie di montagna. Per chi vuole assaporare la genuinità,

La notte sulle Dolomiti si trascorre sotto la magia della
volta celeste. “Riveder le stelle” invita a trascorrere la notte
a Malga Brenta Alta: la partenza è al tramonto e si segue il
sentiero avvolti dall’atmosfera di una montagna assopita,
illuminata da una miriade di stelle. E una volta raggiunta
la malga, la cena rustica regala a quest’esperienza un
profumo autentico.
Due passi in compagnia di sapori e tipicità
In montagna non può certo mancare l’incontro con i
sapori vivi del territorio e le imperdibili taste experiences
della Val Rendena. Camminare tra i boschi, riconoscere
e raccogliere le erbe selvatiche per poi assaggiarne tutto
il loro sapore in un pranzo che le vede protagoniste, è la
proposta “Di prato in pranzo”. Profuma di tradizione il
laboratorio dedicato al pezzo forte della cucina rurale: la
polenta. “Polenterchef ” svela infatti i segreti per ottenere
una polenta perfetta e diventare chef capaci di utilizzare la
trisa, tipico utensile di legno con cui si rimesta la polenta.
Sui prati della Val Rendena pascolano le mucche razza
Rendena, autoctone della valle e presidio Slow Food. “Oh
mia bella Mora” è un invito a conoscere gli allevatori e
seguire da vicino le diverse fasi della produzione del formaggio
e dei latticini.
Dolomiti: wellness naturale
Le Dolomiti, patrimonio dell’Umanità, sono cornice da
favola per questo territorio. Tra la bellezza di panorami
e vette, ampia è la scelta di percorsi e attività guidate per

für jede Stufe mit Geräteverleih an. Besonders morgens
lohnt sich eine ruhige Kanufahrt zum Wasserfall Cascata

Das Val Rendena, Madonna di Campiglio und
Pinzolo warten mit einem maßgeschneiderten Transportangebot,
viel Information und guter Organisation auf.
Hier bieten Fremdenverkehrsbetriebe, Unternehmen,
Profis und Freiwilligenorganisationen authentische Entdeckungsfahrten
zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend
und geben Einblick in die Seele des Garda Trentino.
Taufrische Morgen, zauberhafte Abende
Der Tag beginnt ganz im Zeichen des Wohlbefindens
auf weichen, duftenden Wiesen: Frühstück im Grünen
bei „Colazione sull’erba“, dazu Geschichten und Erzählungen
vom Berg. Authentisches Berggefühl wird zudem
bei einem Almbesuch zu Sonnenaufgang mit Frühstück
geboten: Mit „Alba in Malga“ erleben Sie die Arbeit
der Menschen am Berg und das Leben auf den Almen
hautnah mit. „Riveder le stelle“ hingegen ist die ideale
Gelegenheit, auf der Malga Brenta Alta eine Nacht unterm
Sternenhimmel zu verbringen: Die Wanderung zur Alm
beginnt nach Sonnenuntergang im Licht der Sterne.
Am Ziel lockt ein zünftiges Abendmahl.
Genusswandern im Val Rendena
Die Taste Experiences im Val Rendena sind ein Muss! Bei
einer Waldwanderung lernen Interessierte die Aromen
der Berge kennen, sammeln Kräuter und kosten diese
anschließend im Rahmen von „Di prato in pranzo“ bei
einem Mittagessen. Ein eigener Workshop ist außerdem
dem traditionellen Gericht des Trentino schlechthin
gewidmet: „Polenterchef “ vermittelt Insiderwissen zur
Zubereitung der perfekten Polenta mithilfe der Trisa, des
typischen Holzkochlöffels.
Auf den Wiesen des Val Rendena weiden die Kühe der
gleichnamigen hiesigen Rasse: Die Erzeugnisse aus ihrer
Milch und ihrem Fleisch sind als Slow Food ausgewiesen.
Im Rahmen von „Oh mia bella Mora“ lernen Gäste die
Züchter und deren Arbeit, die Käserei und Milchverarbeitung
kennen.

Das Welterbe Dolomiten bildet den märchenhaften
Rahmen dieses Gebiets. In der atemberaubend schönen

Not for motorboats – the waters of Garda Trentino are
left to the four winds, which is why this part of the Lake
Garda is ideal for lovers of water sports such as windsurfing,
sailing or stand-up paddling. Schools along the shore
offer courses for every level as well as high-quality rental
services. Morning is also the perfect time to take advantage
of the calm waters and canoe to the Ponale waterfall,
the only way to admire this wonder of nature.
Family holidays – so close to nature
The outdoor dimension produces excitement and adrenalin,
but also means family adventures that will stimulate

J. W. Goethe. Tutto da vivere tra lago,
cultura ed emozioni
Nel 1786 J. W. Goethe passò per Malcesine e ne
rimase così incantato che proprio a lui si devono
le prime raffigurazioni del luogo.
Oggi, come allora, questo grazioso borgo è un richiamo
e che si arrivi via terra o via acqua, lo si riconosce per
l’inconfondibile torre del Castello Scaligero. Qui, tra
cortili, sale e terrazze, si incontra cultura, storia e un meraviglioso
landscape. Al piano terra, appuntamento con il
Museo di storia naturale dove la tecnologia e un moderno
allestimento coreografico coinvolgono anche il panorama
paesaggistico esterno, trasformando la visita in una vera e
propria esperienza di conoscenza a tuttotondo. Si prosegue
poi con il Museo delle “Galere veneziane” dedicato
al racconto del trasporto delle navi da terra, oltre che al
ritrovamento della galea veneziana affondata al porto di
Lazise. La Sala Goethe è dedicata invece ai primi ritratti
che l’artista ha dedicato a Malcesine, e si notano già sfumature
e colori del luogo.
Non poteva essere diversamente perché dalla piattaforma
del Rivellino e dalla torre, che si innalza per 70 metri
sul lago, ogni sguardo viene catturato dall’ammaliante
landscape: il lago, gli entroterra, gli olivi, per poi volgere
gli occhi verso l’alto. Sì, Malcesine non è solo lago ed entroterra,
è anche montagna. Il Monte Baldo la domina e le
cabine rotanti della moderna funivia permettono l’ascesa
lungo i suoi fianchi. Dopo 15 minuti di risalita, percorrendo
un vero e proprio viaggio emozionale tra acqua e terra,
si raggiunge la cima. E lassù diversi itinerari si snodano
in un ambiente che unisce macchia mediterranea, pascoli
alpini e alte vette.
Malcesine è certamente una destinazione che stupisce
ovunque la si guardi, e unica è la sua atmosfera: camminare
lungo lago accompagnati dalle acque del Garda;
unire emozione e adrenalina grazie alle diverse proposte
sportive; passeggiare nella suggestiva atmosfera del centro
storico dove ogni scorcio è un ritratto da ricordare.

Today as then it is an attractive destination and, whether
you arrive by land or by water, Malcesine can be recognised
by the unmistakable tower of the Scaligero Castle, where

and a magnificent landscape. The ground floor is home to the
Natural History Museum, where technology and a spectacular

Il comprensorio montano di Bormio è destinazione
ideale in ogni periodo dell’anno. Oltre 150
km di piste per vivere l’inverno, tra sci alpino e
nordico, nelle ski area di Bormio, Santa Caterina
Valfurva e Cima Piazzi-San Colombano; itinerari
emozionanti sono dedicati allo sci alpinismo e alle
passeggiate da percorrere con le “ciaspole” (racchette
da neve); il divertimento non trascura lo snowboard,
il freeride, la fat e-bike e garantisce una gioiosa
vacanza sulla neve assieme alla famiglia.
Il ghiacciaio dello Stelvio (2.760-3.450m), con i suoi
20 km di piste, è poi la più estesa area sciabile estiva
delle Alpi dove si indossano gli sci da fine maggio ai
primi di novembre.
Con l’arrivo della bella stagione si apre l’ampio
ventaglio di esperienze outdoor: ad attendere i
ciclisti ci sono le più grandi salite come lo Stelvio,

sono la proposta giusta per la mountain bike; oltre
600 sono i chilometri coperti da tracciati dedicati
al trekking e al nordic walking che accontentano

l’anno, immancabile protagonista è il landscape che
meraviglia la vista con le grandi cime del gruppo
Ortles Cevedale, mentre i paesaggi alpini inconta-

minati regalano la reale possibilità di incontrare la fauna
che abita questi luoghi.
A Bormio si respira natura, libertà, ma anche arte e
cultura. Il suo centro storico e i paesi limitrofi raccontano
infatti la storia secolare di un territorio che per settecento
anni fu una piccola democrazia comunale al centro
delle Alpi. In questo ambiente alpino ricco di proposte e
opportunità, non mancano le antiche, calde acque termali
naturali (37°-43°) di Bormio Terme, dei Bagni Nuovi e
dei Bagni Vecchi dove trascorrere una giornata dedicata
interamente al relax di mente e corpo. In montagna anche
il gusto vuole la sua parte e imperdibile è l’assaggio del
menù del montanaro. L’itinerario gastronomico invita a
incontrare il tipico sapore della bresaola, dei pizzoccheri,
della polenta taragna. C’è poi un amaro che rende famoso
Bormio in tutto il mondo: l’Amaro Braulio. Vanta una
ricetta centenaria creata nel 1875 dal Dottor Francesco
Peloni con le tradizionali erbe aromatiche, bacche e radici;
il prodotto è ancora più autentico per le speciali cantine
storiche (del XIX e XX secolo), un vero e proprio labirinto
che si snoda sotto le vie del centro storico di Bormio, dove

Das Berggebiet um Bormio ist eine ideale Ganzjahresdestination:
Die Ski Area Bormio, Santa
Caterina Valfurva und Cima Piazzi-San Colombano
warten mit über 150 km Skipisten und Loipen, abenteuerlichen
Skitouren und Schneeschuhwanderrouten auf.
Das Angebot für Snowboarder, Freerider und e-Fatbikes
ist ebenfalls kaum zu übertreffen und beschert herrliche
Urlaubstage im Schnee für die ganze Familie.
Der Stilfser Gletscher (2760-3450m) mit seinen 20 km
Pisten ist außerdem das größte Sommerskigebiet der
Alpen mit Schneevergnügen von Ende Mai bis Anfang

Mountainbiker. Dazu kommen über 600 km Wander- und
Nordic-Walking-Routen für Familien und erfahrene Alpinisten.
Das gesamte Jahr über steht die Landschaft mit
den großen Gipfeln der Ortler-Cevedale-Gruppe und der
unberührten Natur, in der man die hiesige Fauna hautnah
kennenlernen kann, unumstritten im Mittelpunkt.
In Bormio atmet man Natur, Freiheit, Kunst und Kultur.
Der historische Ortskern und die umliegenden Dörfer
erzählen die uralte Geschichte einer Gegend, die 700
Jahre lang eine kleine demokratische Einheit im Herzen
der Alpen bildete. In diesem alpinen Ambiente, das so
reich an Möglichkeiten ist, finden sich außerdem auch die
Thermalquellen (37°-43°) von Bormio Terme, Bagni Nuovi
und Bagni Vecchi, an denen sich herrlich entspannende
Stunden verbringen lassen. Hier in Bergen darf aber
auch der Gaumen nicht zu kurz kommen – die hiesigen
Bergspezialitäten wie Bresaola, Pizzoccheri und Polenta
Taragna sind ein Must. Außerdem gibt es da noch einen
bekannten Kräuterlikör aus Bormio: Der Braulio ist weltweit
beliebt. Das Rezept wurde 1875 vom Arzt Francesco
Peloni entwickelt und kombiniert traditionelle Kräuter,
Beeren und Wurzeln. Zusätzlich unterstreichen die einmaligen
Lagerkeller seine Authentizität: Das Geheimnis
von Geschmack und Tradition des Likörs wird in einem
wahren unterirdischen Labyrinth aus dem 18. und 19.
Jahrhundert wohl behütet.

the “Magnificent Land” at the heart of the Upper Valtellina, located in the Stelvio
National Park
The Bormio mountain area is an ideal destination at
any time of year. In winter, the ski areas of Bormio,
Santa Caterina Valfurva and Cima Piazzi-San
Colombano offer over 150 km of slopes for Alpine and
Nordic skiing; there are exhilarating routes for ski mountaineering
and snowshoe excursions; and the fun includes
snowboarding, freeriding and fat e-biking, with happy
family holidays in the snow guaranteed.
With its 20 km of slopes, the Stelvio glacier (2760-3450
metres) is the largest summer ski area in the Alps,

Italienische Gastfreundschaft und edle Atmosphäre in der
Hügellandschaft des Gardasees
Auf den Hügeln im Landesinneren am Ostufer
des Gardasees steht inmitten von Weinbergen
ein alter Landsitz. Die Ursprünge und der Name
der Antica Dimora del Turco gehen auf das Mittelalter
zurück, als die Gegend Monte Turco hieß. Das herrschaftliche
Anwesen aus dem 17. Jahrhundert mit dem Jagdhaus
aus dem 18. Jahrhundert ist der perfekte Gastgeber aus
einer anderen Zeit. An der Fassade zeugen eine Sonnenuhr
und zwei Wappen – der geflügelte Markuslöwe und
das Christusmonogramm des Heiligen Bernhardin –
von der langen Geschichte des Hauses. Sobald man das
Anwesen erreicht, spürt man bereits die entspannende,
freundliche Atmosphäre, die zum Verweilen im familiären,

mobilità sostenibile del territorio ampezzano, a tutela del
patrimonio naturalistico dell’umanità. Cortina d’Ampezzo
diventa laboratorio di innovazione e mobilità consapevole.
Fiames, a 4 km dal centro di Cortina, è infatti l’unica driving
experience permanente sull’arco alpino italiano, dedicata
alla sportività sostenibile della gamma Audi. Grazie a
piloti e collaudatori, si ha la possibilità di testare i modelli
Audi mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid e full electric sulla pista di
neve/ghiaccio che, a seconda delle condizioni di neve e
temperature, ha una lunghezza di 1 Km - 1,7 Km.

AUDI AND CORTINA D’AMPEZZO
Sustainable sport and conscious
mobility in the heart of the Dolomites
In partnership with ENEL X, the Fondazione Cortina 2021
and the Italian Winter Sports Federation, Audi is aiming to
upgrade and develop sustainable mobility in and around
the city of Cortina d’Ampezzo so as to help protect humanity’s
natural heritage. Cortina d’Ampezzo has thus become a
laboratory for innovation and conscious mobility.
At Fiames, 4 km from the centre of Cortina, is the only permanent
driving experience in the Italian Alps dedicated to
the Audi range’s concept of sustainable sports. The drivers
and testers there offer visitors the chance to test drive mildhybrid,
plug-in hybrid and full-electric Audi models on the
snow/ice track that – depending on the snow conditions
and temperature – has a length of between 1 and 1.7 km.
Cortina and Audi thus affirm their partnership with a commitment
to upgrading the region around the city, with the
Audi e-tron now the official car of the municipality of Cortina.
There are 13 recharging locations in the area, with 10
Audi public recharge points and three charging stations –
one with fast charging – for use by locals and tourists alike.

und den Ausbau der nachhaltigen Mobilität in Ampezzo
zum Schutz der Landschaft und des Naturerbes zum Ziel
gesetzt. Cortina d’Ampezzo wird damit zum Workshop für
Innovation und bewusste Mobilität.
Das ca. 4 km von Cortina entfernte Fiames ist die einzige
permanente Driving Experience der italienischen Alpen
für nachhaltige Sportmodelle aus dem Hause Audi. An der
Seite von Fahrern und Prüfern können hier Audi-Modelle
der Serien Mild-Hybrid, Plug-in-Hybrid und E-Tron auf
einer je nach Schnee- und Temperaturbedingungen 1 bis
1,7 km langen Schnee-/Eispiste getestet werden.
Cortina und Audi erneuern ihre Partnerschaft im gemeinsamen
Einsatz für die Aufwertung des Gebiets, und der
Audi e-tron ist das offizielle Fahrzeug Cortinas. Insgesamt
stehen im Gebiet Ampezzo 13 Ladestationen bereit: 10
öffentliche Audi Recharging Points und 3 weitere für
lokale Benutzer und Gäste, davon 1 Schnellladestation.

Kunst, Natur und Berg zu jeder Jahreszeit
Trient ist reich an Kunst und Kultur. Hier erwarten Sie

oder das Diözesanmuseum mit seinen Kunstschätzen im

Wanderwegen, Klettersteigen und MTB-Routen sowie dem
ältesten botanischen Garten der Alpen, dem Alpengarten

La Valle dei Laghi è terra vocata alla coltivazione del
vitigno autoctono Nosiola e dal lungo appassimento
dei grappoli provenienti dagli antichi vigneti, si
produce il Vino Santo Trentino DOC. Un tempo era noto
per le sue qualità di corroborante e rinforzante, oggi può

ogni singolo passaggio, come dettato dalla tradizione. Indispensabile
alla sua produzione è la presenza delle arèle
o graticci, su cui i grappoli riposano per quasi 6 mesi, in
compagnia della costante “Ora del Garda”, il vento che
soffia dal lago di Garda. La muffa nobile, botrytis cinerea,
si sviluppa esclusivamente all’interno dell’acino e dopo il
lungo e ventilato riposo, l’acino perde più dell’80% della
sua umidità. Dopo la pigiatura, il mosto è travasato in piccole
botti di rovere per la lenta fermentazione naturale che
impiega almeno sei, otto anni per giungere a compimento.

Nella Valle dei Laghi si incontra il borgo di Santa Massenza
dove numerose famiglie di distillatori portano
avanti l’arte della distillazione artigianale della grappa
trentina. Annuale appuntamento di dicembre è “La
notte degli alambicchi accesi”, lo spettacolo teatrale
itinerante dedicato a questa autentica tradizione da cui
si ottiene un prodotto di qualità eccellente.

Das Valle dei Laghi ist ein idealer Standort für
die uralte Trentiner Nosiola-Rebe, aus deren
getrockneten Beeren der Vino Santo Trentino
DOC entsteht. Der Wein war einst für seine stärkende
Wirkung bekannt und gilt heute als der König der Passiti.
Die Weinbauern des Valle die Laghi halten sich heute wie
früher exakt an die traditionelle Erzeugungstechnik mit
den „arèle“ oder „graticci“, auf denen die Trauben fast
6 Monate lang im Hauch der Ora – dem Südwind am Gardasee
– zum Trocknen ausgelegt werden. Dabei entsteht der
Edelschimmel Botyris Cinerea im Inneren der Beeren,
die während der langen Trocknung mehr als 80% ihrer
Feuchtigkeit verlieren. Nach der Pressung wird der Most
in kleine Eichenfächer gefüllt, wo er langsam und auf
natürliche Art und Weise sechs bis acht Jahre lang reift.

The Valle dei Laghi (“Valley of the Lakes”) is home
to the Nosiola vine. Grown in ancient vineyards, its
grapes wither for some time on the vine to produce
the Vino Santo Trentino DOC: once famed for its invigorating
and strengthening qualities, it is today the Passito
par excellence. The local winemakers are dedicated to its
production and observe every tradition. The arèle (racks),
on which the grapes lie for almost six months, are constantly
fanned by the “Ora”, the wind that blows up from
Lake Garda. The “noble rot”, botrytis cinerea, develops
inside the grape and, after a long and airy rest, each grape
will lose over 80% of its moisture. After pressing, the must
is transferred to small oak barrels, where the slow natural
fermentation process may take from six to eight years.

Der Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore
DOCG bündelt die Fülle an Düften und Aromen

scents and flavours of a land that has always been
dedicated to winegrowing. The hills known as the Colline
del Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene delimit an area
that has since 2019 been recognised as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site, located just 50 km from Venice and 100 km
from the Dolomites.
Among the stories of the winemakers who lovingly care
for this heritage is that of Nino Franco and his winery.
Founded by Nino, and today maintained with great
passion by Primo Franco and his daughter Silvia, there is
a continuous belief in the potential of the land, promoting
the value contained in each bottle via the authentic
history of those who take care of every single step, from
cultivating the vineyards to producing the wine.
It is fundamental to the winery to share the emotion of
what it creates to ensure that the great value of the region
too is made known, a message that is also communicated
to importers and customers by means of “winemaker dinners”
and staff training. Winemaking is in fact a true art
form, first arising as a thought and subsequently bottled,

due luoghi dedicati a preziose tradizioni artistiche,

MUSEO DEL MERLETTO – BURANO
Le pittoresche case di Burano fanno da cornice al Museo
del Merletto dove la magistrale abilità con aghi e fuselli
delle donne veneziane, giunge a noi attraverso l’autenticità
dei loro ricami. Un tempo economia fondamentale
per le aree più povere, quest’arte racconta e testimonia la
storia della quotidianità sull’isola, quando dalle sapienti
mani delle donne di pescatori, inizia a fiorire la particolare
lavorazione. I primi pizzi e merletti sono realizzati
in casa o sulla riva, a testimonianza del legame con la
vita lagunare. Nel primo laboratorio, aperto alla fine del
XVI secolo, sono 1300 le merlettaie al lavoro e il fiorente
avvio porta alla realizzazione di manuali, i Modellari (XVI
sec.), destinati alle merlettaie. Forme geometriche, fiorite,
arabeschi, veli leggeri sono tra i decori più ricorrenti nella
storia del merletto che nei secoli ha impreziosito abiti di
aristocratici, alte personalità, rivestito culle, abbellito spose
e decorato dimore. Burano è tutt’oggi luogo di eccellenza
per la preziosa produzione realizzata con tecniche nate
dalle mani delle sue maestre merlettaie.

MUSEO DEL VETRO – MURANO
Se il talento delle donne veneziane rende intramontabile il
legame tra Venezia, Burano, pizzi e merletti, altrettanto si
può affermare di Venezia, Murano e maestri vetrai. L’antica
tradizione risale già al Medioevo, quando i raffinati
vetri provenienti dalla Siria richiamano grande attenzione
e fama. Nel 1300 Venezia conta 12 vetrerie dove si soffiano
oggetti di uso comune, spetta invece al vetro cristallino segnare
un importante passo per questa eccellenza artistica.
Il vetro trasparente e puro, simile al cristallo di rocca,
viene realizzato da Angelo Barovier (1405-1460), e sarà
poi Vincenzo d’Angelo dal Gallo (1534-47), a introdurre
l’incisione a punta di diamante, antica tecnica dell’età
romana, per creare raffinate decorazioni simili a merletti.
Nel 1861 nasce il Museo del Vetro di Murano, con numerose
donazioni di vetri prodotti nell’isola e, l’anno dopo,
Vincenzo Zanetti apre la prima scuola per maestri vetrai.
La storia della lavorazione del vetro cresce e si afferma
sempre più tra vetri trasparenti, decorazioni con smalti,
motivi rinascimentali e un’abilità della lavorazione ad alti
livelli come la tecnica a “mano volante”, ovvero a mano
libera. Ed è questo il tratto distintivo dei maestri muranesi
le cui opere richiamano collezionisti di tutto il mondo.

Die Lagunenstadt wartet mit Kunst, Kultur, Tradition und Museen von
unschätzbarem Wert auf
Die Stiftung Musei Civici di Venezia leitet 11 Museen von
unschätzbarem Wert – ein schützenswertes Gut, das es
der Allgemeinheit bekanntzumachen gilt.
Aus einer Vielzahl an Museen, Kunstwerken, Sammlungen
und Bibliotheken stellen wir Ihnen zwei Einrichtungen
vor, die dem traditionellen Kunsthandwerk gewidmet
sind.
SPITZENMUSEUM – BURANO
Die malerischen Häuser von Burano bilden den Rahmen
für das Museo del Merletto, wo einzigartige Klöppelarbeiten
die Kunstfertigkeit der Venezianerinnen eindrücklich
belegen. Das Klöppeln war in den ärmeren
Teilen der Stadt einst ein wichtiger Wirtschaftszweig. Die
Arbeiten zeugen vom Alltag auf der Insel, als die Frauen
der Fischer mit kundiger Hand im Haus oder am Ufer
saßen und Spitzen klöppelten. Die erste Werkstatt wurde
gegen Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts eröffnet und beschäftigte
1300 Klöpplerinnen. Mit dem Aufblühen des Gewerbes
entstanden bald schon eigene Anleitungsbücher, die
sogenannten Modellari (16. Jh.). Geometrische Formen,
Blüten, Arabesken und leichte Schleier zierten im Laufe
der Jahrhunderte die Kleidung der Aristokratie und der

GLASMUSEUM – MURANO
Was für Burano und seine Spitzen zutrifft, gilt für Murano
und seine Glasbläserarbeiten. Die Ursprünge dieser besonderen
Handwerkskunst liegen im Mittelalter, als syrische
Glasbläser für ihre Arbeit weitum bekannt waren. Im
14. Jahrhundert fertigten in Venedig ganze 12 Werkstätten
Alltagsgegenstände aus Glas. Der Sprung zur hohen
Kunst folgte mit dem Kristallglas: Das reine, durchsichtige
cristallo wurde erstmals von Angelo Barovier (1405-1460)
hergestellt. Vincenzo d’Angelo dal Gallo führte hingegen
die filigrane Glasdekoration mit Diamantspitzen nach
einer alten Technik aus der Römerzeit ein (1534-47). Im
Jahr 1861 wurde das Glasmuseum eröffnet: Ausgestellt
wurden zahlreiche auf der Insel gefertigte, vornehmlich

The Venice Civic Museums Foundation coordinates 11
locations in a museum network of enormous value, a genuine
public heritage to be protected, publicised and made
known to the world.
Among the museums, artworks, collections and libraries,
two places in particular encapsulate the fine artistic traditions
that are the pride of the city.
LACE MUSEUM – BURANO
The picturesque houses of Burano are the setting for the
Lace Museum, where visitors can appreciate the authentic
embroidery and expert needlework of the women of Venice.
Once an economic necessity for the poorest areas, this
art form relates the history of everyday life on the island
when this specialist work began to flourish between the
skilled hands of the fishermen’s wives. The first lacework
was made at home or on the seashore, a sign of the link
with lagoon life. The first workshop, opened at the end of
the 16th century, held 1,300 lacemakers and this flourishing
start led to the creation of manuals – the Modellari –
to help the lacemakers. Geometrical shapes, flower forms,
arabesques and light veils are among the most frequent
decorations in the story of the lace that, over the centuries,
has adorned or embellished aristocrats, celebrities
and brides, as well as cradles and stately homes. Burano is
still a centre of excellence for fine production, handmade
using the techniques of its expert lacemakers.

GLASS MUSEUM – MURANO
If the talent of the women of Venice creates a timeless
bond between Venice, Burano and lacework, the same can
be said of Venice, Murano and its master glassmakers. An
ancient tradition dating back to the Middle Ages began
when fine glass from Syria drew great attention and fame.
In 1300 Venice had twelve glassworks where everyday
objects were blown, but it was crystal-clear glass that
marked an important step forwards in terms of artistic
excellence. Pure, transparent glass, similar to rock crystal,
was made by Angelo Barovier (1405-1460); then Vincenzo
d’Angelo dal Gallo (1534-47) introduced the ancient
Roman technique of diamond-tipped engraving to create

ARMANI SILOS. In via Bergognone 40, il deposito di una grande industria multinazionale rinasce con il Silos uno
spazio espositivo che ripercorre la carriera del grande stilista italiano dagli anni ’80 ai giorni nostri, oltre a ospitare
mostre dedicate alla fotografia e al design.
Un luogo per comprendere evoluzione e cambiamento,
questa la concept idea di Armani Silos dove, tra studio
e ricerca, si percorre un vero e proprio viaggio nei 40
anni di attività dello stilista. Si inizia con “Androgino”,
selezione di capi dallo stile semplice, rigoroso e fluido; si
prosegue con “Etnie”, un incontro con culture e paesi che
hanno stimolato il pensiero creativo; si raggiunge poi il
terzo piano con “Stars”, le tappe holliwoodiane che hanno
visto Armani vestire il grande cinema. In un’architettura
ordinata, semplice, ma anche maestosa, sono raccolti
tutti gli elementi che hanno portato Armani a dare vita a
questo progetto.

Der Pavillon der zeitgenössischen Kunst PAC ist ein

und Marina Abramovic ausgestellt und entwarfen eigene
Werke und Installationen für den Anlass. Die Ausstellungen

die provokante Art, Künstler oder Länder zu präsentieren:
Im Programm 2020-2021 fallen besonders die erste
Einzelausstellung der Künstlerin und Aktivistin Tania

Depot einer internationalen Industrie zu neuem Leben:
Hier sind neben Einblicken in das Schaffen des großen
italienischen Designers von den 1980er Jahren bis in
die Gegenwart auch Fotografie- und Designausstellungen
zu sehen.
Ein Ort, an dem Evolution und Veränderung veranschaulicht
werden sollen. Dies ist das Grundkonzept hinter
Armani/Silos: Hier werden 40 Jahre Arbeit des großen
Designers, Studium und Forschung nachgezeichnet. Von
„Androgino“, einer Selektion von Kleidungsstücken mit
einfachen, strengen und fließenden Formen, über „Etnie“,
eine Verschmelzung von Einflüssen verschiedener Kulturen
und Länder, die die Kreativität des Künstlers angeregt
haben, gelangt man schließlich bei „Stars“ zu Stücken, die
Armani für Hollywood gefertigt hat.
Die lineare, einfache und doch beeindruckende
Architektur bildet den Rahmen für all jene Elemente,
die Armani dazu bewegt haben, diesem Projekt Leben
einzuhauchen: „Die Einrichtung von Armani/Silos, die
Auswahl der Exponate und der Ausstellungsmethoden,
die Bestimmung jener Themen, die einen Gedanken
und einen Stil bestmöglich zusammenfassen, haben mir
Begeisterung und gleichzeitig Gelassenheit geschenkt und
bei der Aufarbeitung von 40 Schaffensjahren geholfen.
Mode scheint im ewigen Jetzt zu bestehen, braucht aber
die Selbstreflexion, um in die Zukunft blicken zu können.
Dabei begleitet und erahnt sie nicht selten große soziale

Stiftung Prada. Ein besonderer Ausstellungsraum für
Veranstaltungen, die die Interaktion von Mensch und
Kultur veranschaulichen.
Die Stiftung Fondazione Prada wurde 1993 als kulturelle
Einrichtung gegründet und widmet sich dem Studium
der Interaktion zwischen dem Menschen und unterschiedlichen
Disziplinen – keine getrennten Welten,
sondern Gebiete im ständigen gegenseitigen Austausch.
Eine Vielzahl an Projekten macht Kunst, Kreativität und
Kultur zu Momenten des Wachstums und des Vergleichs.
Im Rahmen eines breitgefächerten Programm bildet die
Stiftung ab November 2020 ein Jahr lang das Herzstück
von „Human Brains“, einem neuen Projekt rund um das
menschliche Gehirn als Wiege von Gedanken, Kreativität
und Emotionen, und den ständigen Dialog von Neurologie
und Kultur.
In der Stiftung Prada entstehen Ideen für die Interpretation

di Breda in the province of Treviso,
can be found the fish farm of Caviar Giaveri.
Beluga, Osietra and Siberian are just some of the
caviar types produced using modern aquaculture
technologies that guarantee sustainability and,
equally important, protection of the sturgeon. Large
outdoor ponds reproduce their ideal natural habitat;

With ten different species of sturgeon, the fish
breeding operation at San Bartolomeo is the most

basis, as each fish takes a long period to mature and

RACCONTI AUTENTICI
Le eccellenze dell’agroalimentare sono il racconto più

nei masi, negli agriturismi e nei ristoranti, dove si

Vino Trentino: nel calice l’incontro con il territorio
Il Trentino è una tra le più importanti aree di viticoltura
montana d'Italia e d'Europa; vanta vini DOC rappresentativi
ottenuti da uve autoctone come la Nosiola della Valle
dei Laghi, il Marzemino della Vallagarina, il Teroldego
della Piana Rotaliana.
Lo spumante metodo classico Trentodoc è la bollicina di
montagna più conosciuta al mondo e l’istituto dedicato
a questo marchio collettivo ha di recente lanciato la App
Trentodoc per far conoscere le 55 case spumantistiche e le
175 etichette.
La grappa del tridente
Spostandosi per pochi chilometri da Trento, in direzione
del Lago di Garda, si raggiunge la Valle dei Laghi dove
troviamo Santa Massenza, il borgo con la più alta concentrazione
di alambicchi al mondo, culla della grappa
artigianale. Qui, come altrove, per esempio in Rotaliana,
in Valsugana - ma in definitiva ogni valle ha le sue produzioni
specifiche e le sue cantine - la grappa, distillato di
vinacce che a fine fermentazione vengono passate nell’alambicco,
esprime storia, tradizione, ma anche sapere e
rigore produttivo garantiti dal marchio “Trentino Grappa”.
Il sigillo a forma di Tridente, è garanzia di utilizzo di vinacce
esclusivamente trentine e di un processo di distillazione
soggetto ad accurati controlli chimici per il rispetto
dei parametri organolettici.
Sapori di alpeggio
Sono circa 70 mila i quintali di latte prodotto negli alpeggi
del Trentino. L’alimento, di alta qualità, nasce nelle malghe
in quota dove gli animali si nutrono solo di erba fresca,
fiori e acqua. Un mondo autentico, genuino, proprio come
i prodotti che ne derivano; il burro e i formaggi, oltre al
latte, sono il risultato dell’esperienza, del lavoro manuale,
dell’attenzione, ma anche della fatica di malgari e allevatori
che si dedicano con passione alle oltre 300 malghe. Fiore
all’occhiello della produzione casearia trentina è il Trentingrana,
che insieme al Puzzone di Moena, alla Spressa
delle Giudicarie e al Vezzena degli Altipani Cimbri, ha
ottenuto la DOP. Presidi Slow Food sono invece il Casolèt
della Val di Sole, Tosela e Burro Botìro del Primiero.
La mela, il frutto del Trentino
La mela è certo sinonimo di Trentino e il frutto, coltivato
in gran parte del territorio provinciale, trova l’habitat ideale
per la sua crescita nella Val di Non. Qui le condizioni
climatiche, l’esposizione del territorio e le caratteristiche
del terreno conferiscono sapore, croccantezza e fragranza
inconfondibili. La “Mela Val di Non” è stata la prima, e
finora unica, mela italiana a ricevere il riconoscimento
europeo della DOP; tra le varietà principali la Renetta
Canada, protagonista nel famosissimo Strudel; le Red
Delicious, “mela di Biancaneve”, perfetta a fine pasto e
le croccanti Golden Delicious, le più coltivate in Europa.
Il traguardo della certificazione IGP interessa invece
altre otto varietà di mele trentine: Golden Delicious, Red
Delicious, Gala, Fuji, Morgenduft, Renetta, GrannySmith,
Pinova. I consorzi Melinda e La Trentina, le cooperative
di produttori Sant’Orsola, Mezzocorona e la Società
Frutticoltori Trento con il contributo essenziale della
Fondazione Edmund Mach, sono stati i principali attori
nel perseguire questo ambito riconoscimento che, tra le
attenzioni, consente la sola raccolta manuale dei frutti.
Nella tradizione culinaria trentina le "Mele del Trentino"
sono ingrediente principale per i dolci tipici del territorio,
tra cui eccellono lo strudel, la torta di mele, le frittelle di
mele.

Das Trentino zählt zu Italiens und Europas wichtigsten
Bergweinbaugebieten: Hier entstehen Weine mit kontrollierter
Ursprungsbezeichnung aus hiesigen Sorten,
etwa der Nosiola aus dem Valle dei Laghi, der Marzemino
aus dem Vallagarina oder der Teroldego aus der Rotaliana-Ebene.
Der traditionelle Trentodoc-Schaumwein ist
der wohl bekannteste Bergschaumwein weltweit, und erst
kürzlich wurde die App Trentodoc lanciert, um Interessierten
die 55 Erzeuger und 175 Sorten zu präsentieren.
Grappa aus dem Trentino
Einen Steinwurf von Trient entfernt in Richtung Gardasee
liegt das Valle dei Laghi mit Santa Massenza, der Wiege
der handwerklichen Schnapsbrennerei und wohl dem
Ort mit den meisten Alambiks weit und breit. Hier, in
der Rotaliana-Ebene, im Valsugana oder all den anderen
Tälern mit ihren besonderen Spezialitäten und Brennereien
ist der Grappa aus Trestern ein Ausdruck von
Geschichte, Tradition und Know-how. Er wird nach den
strengen Qualitätsvorgaben der Marke „Trentino Grappa“
destilliert: Das Siegel in der Form eines Dreizacks (nach
Tridentum, dem römischen Namen Trients) garantiert die
Herstellung aus Trentiner Trestern und strenge Kontrollen
im Laufe des Destillationsverfahrens.
und Milch in sorgfältiger, oft mühevoller Handarbeit.
Zu den unumstrittenen Highlights der Käseherstellung
gehören Trentingrana, Puzzone di Moena, Spressa delle
Giudicarie und Vezzena, die allesamt mit der geschützten
Ursprungsbezeichnung DOP versehen sind. Als Slow-
Food-Produkte ausgewiesen sind hingegen Casolèt aus
dem Val di Sole, Tosela und Botìro-Butter aus Primiero.
Der Apfel – ein echter Trentiner
Der Apfel gilt als eines der Wahrzeichen des Trentino. Die
Frucht ist im Großteil der Provinz weit verbreitet und hat
im Nonstal ideale Bedingungen vorgefunden: Klima, Ausrichtung
und Bodenzusammensetzung machen den Apfel
hier besonders knackig und aromatisch. Der Nonstaler
Apfel erhielt als erster und bislang einziger italienischer
Apfel die geschützte Ursprungsbezeichnung DOP. Zu den
wichtigsten Sorten gehören die Kanadarenette, die unter
anderem für den Strudel verwendet wird, der als Dessert
bestens geeignete Red Delicious und der knackige, in
Europa besonders weit verbreitete Golden Delicious. Die
geschützte geografische Angabe IGP hingegen wurde bereits
für acht Trentiner Sorten vergeben, nämlich Golden
Delicious, Red Delicious, Gala, Fuji, Morgenduft, Renette,
GrannySmith, Pinova. Die Anerkennung, die sich allen
voran die Konsortien Melinda und La Trentina, die Erzeugergenossenschaften
Sant’Orsola, Mezzocorona sowie
die Obstgenossenschaft Frutticoltori Trento mit der wertvollen
Unterstützung der Stiftung Fondazione Edmund
Mach sichern konnten, setzt unter anderem voraus, dass
die Äpfel ausschließlich von Hand geerntet werden. In
der traditionellen Trentiner Küche sind Äpfel zudem die
Hauptzutat für typische Süßspeisen, etwa Strudel, Apfelkuchen
oder Apfelpuffer.
Almaromen
Alljährlich werden im Trentino rund 70.000 Liter Milch
produziert. Das weiße Gold stammt von den Bergalmen,
wo die Tiere sich ausschließlich von frischem Gras,
Blumen und sauberem Wasser ernähren. Die Welt hier
oben ist so authentisch und rein wie die Produkte, die sie
hervorbringt: Auf über 300 Almen entstehen Butter, Käse

A journey through the excellent products that are the fruit
of Alpine environments and a Mediterranean microclimate
The territory of Trentino boasts a rich and flourishing
diversity, from the Mediterranean microclimate
of Lake Garda to typically Alpine environments,
offering a mix of pine and olive, larch and lemon trees,
apple orchards and extensive vineyards. Pure water
springs from the glaciers on high that, with their rocky
streambeds, create the ideal ecosystem for trout and char.
There is a wide range of raw materials and of produce,
thanks to a supply chain of farmers, winegrowers and
breeders that simultaneously helps preserve the mountain
terrain and guarantee quality to the consumer. This
is all carefully overseen by the Autonomous Province of
Trento, which supports and encourages mountain farms
to the same degree as those down in the valleys in the
knowledge that this is where the true strength of Trentino
resides: a land that has fought and overcome the challenge
of depopulation at higher altitudes, preserving traditional
activities and at the same time finding intelligent solutions
for renewal. Orchards and optical fibres, vineyards and
research laboratories, pastures and university learning: it
is also from these pairings that Trentino derives its excellence,
reflecting a history whose roots lie in the Habsburg
Empire. The Agricultural Institute of San Michele all’Adige,
for example, dates from that era: now the Edmund
Mach Foundation, it is a leading centre for the training of
those working in agriculture and a research centre specialising
in genomics and integrated weed control. Today
there exists a special autonomy that has few equals in
Europe, allowing targeted policies in support of the sector
that go hand in hand with those promoted by the EU.
This virtuous relationship between progress and nature
means that Trentino is now recognised as a land of
authenticity, tradition and smart innovation: a leading
tourist destination within the Alps, as well as a part of
Italy regularly ranked first for quality of life.

Authentic Tales
The excellence of agri-food products is the most authentic
and truthful story of a region that never loses its respect
for nature and sustainability. The main pillars of Trentino’s
produce are Trentodoc wines and sparkling wine;
dairy products; meat, fruit and vegetables; not to mention
niche specialties such as mountain honey and craft beers,
best sampled in traditional surroundings on farms and in
farmstays or in restaurants, where innovative combinations

Trentino Wines: the land reflected in a glass
Trentino is one of Italy’s (and indeed Europe’s) most
important high-altitude winegrowing areas, boasting fine
DOC wines made from native grapes such as Nosiola
from the Valle dei Laghi, Marzemino from the Vallagarina,
or Teroldego from the Piana Rotaliana.
Trentodoc sparkling wine, made according to the classic
method, is the world’s best-known mountain “bubbly”:
the institute representing this brand recently launched the
Trentodoc App that lists no fewer than 55 producers and
175 different labels.
Grappa of the Trident
Not far from Trento, towards Lake Garda, is the Valle
dei Laghi and the village of Santa Massenza, boasting
the world’s highest concentration of stills – a cradle of
craft grappa. Here, as elsewhere (e.g. in Rotaliana or the
Valsugana – each valley has its own versions and cellars),
producers distil the leftovers from fermentation in a still
to make grappa, an expression of history and tradition,
but also of the knowledge and care that are assured by
the “Trentino Grappa” brand. The seal, in the form of a
trident, is a guarantee that only Trentino pomace has been
used and that the distillation process undergoes careful
chemical controls to ensure that the end product is a treat
for every discerning nose and palate.
Tastes from the pastures
The pastures of Trentino are major milk producers. The
high-quality fodder from the high pastures mean that the
animals consume only fresh grass, flowers and water. It
is a world of true authenticity, just like its products, milk,
butter and cheese – all the results of experience, manual
labour, care and effort by the herders and breeders
who are so passionately devoted to their pastures, which
number over 300. The jewel among Trentino’s cheeses
is Trentingrana that, together with Puzzone di Moena,
Spressa from the Giudicarie and Vezzena from the Cimbri
high plateaus, has obtained PDO distinction. Slow Food
award winners on the other hand include the cheeses
Tosella and Casolèt, from the Val di Sole, and Botìro del
Primiero butter.
The apple: the fruit of Trentino
The apple is a byword for Trentino: and this fruit, grown
throughout the area, finds its ideal habitat in the Val di
Non. Here the climate, terrain and soil all combine to produce
an unmistakable flavour, crunchiness and fragrance.
The “Mela Val di Non” is the first – and so far, the only –
Italian apple to receive European PDO recognition; while
leading varieties include the Renetta Canada, the main
ingredient of the famous strudel; Red Delicious, “Snow
White’s apple”, perfect at the end of a meal; and crunchy
Golden Delicious, Europe’s most cultivated variety. Another
eight varieties of Trentino apples have received PGI
certification: Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Gala, Fuji,
Morgenduft, Renetta, Granny Smith and Pinova. Along
with the essential contribution of the Edmund Mach
Foundation, it was the Melinda and La Trentina consortia,
the producer cooperatives of Sant’Orsola, Mezzocorona
and the Società Frutticoltori Trento, who together were
largely responsible for pursuing this coveted award that,
among other considerations, only permits harvesting of
the fruit by hand. In the culinary tradition of Trentino,
the “Apples of Trentino” are the main ingredient in many
local desserts, including apple strudel, apple pie and apple
doughnuts.

Nella terra vocata alla coltivazione della
mela, un’alleata della salute, della bellezza
e della cucina
Quando mangiamo una mela, ci dedichiamo una pausa
di gusto che fa bene all’umore e alla salute, ma c’è una
varietà che grazie alle sue qualità benefiche, spicca
su tutte. In Val di Non, terra vocata alla coltivazione di meleti,
si raccoglie la Renetta Canada di Melinda, frutto dal sapore
“esclusivo”. Di forma irregolare, un po’ ruvida al tatto, si riveste
di una buccia giallo-verde e la presenza di rugginosità sulla
stessa, “la grana”, è un segno distintivo di questa varietà e ne
definisce l’elevata qualità. Al suo interno, nella polpa bianco
crema, si trova un’alta concentrazione di polifenoli. E proprio
questo dettaglio la rende perfetta per il benessere e la bellezza
perché i pregiati antiossidanti naturali, presenti in tante altre
varietà, si concentrano in misura maggiore proprio nella Renetta:
212 mg ogni 100 g. I polifenoli, grazie alla loro azione di
inibizione dei radicali liberi e se assunti in una dose giornaliera
corretta, contribuiscono a ridurre in modo importante
l’invecchiamento cellulare e altri fenomeni degenerativi.
Ci sono poi altre peculiarità che la rendono esclusiva: assieme
alla Golden Delicious e alla Red Delicious, la Renetta si fregia
del marchio DOP Mela Val di Non che garantisce un frutto di
origine protetta a rispetto sia di una modalità di produzione
tradizionale che del legame con le caratteristiche geologiche,
agronomiche e climatiche appartenenti al territorio della Val
di Non. Questa mela sa conciliare tutti i palati grazie a quella
particolare e inconfondibile nota acidula e mantiene intatte le
caratteristiche benefiche anche dopo cottura. Così la Renetta,
oltre che far bene per la salute, è il principale alleato in cucina
e lo sa bene Davide Zambelli, giovane chef e food blogger del

Wer einen Apfel isst, gönnt sich eine Genusspause, die
nicht nur der Laune und Gesundheit besonders förderlich
ist. Aus dem für seine Äpfel weitum bekannten Nonstal

An area dedicated to apple-growing is home to an
alliance of health, beauty and good food
When we eat an apple, we are taking a taste break that is good for our mood
and our health: but there is one variety that, thanks to its benefits, stands out
from the rest. The Val di Non, an area dedicated to apple growing, is where
the Rennet Canada by Melinda is harvested, a fruit with an “exclusive” flavour.
Irregular in shape, a little rough to the touch, it has a yellowish-green skin with

INGREDIENTI
Per la pasta: 250 g Farina | 1 Uovo | 50 g Zucchero | 50
ml Latte | 30 ml Olio di semi | 30 g Burro morbido | Mezza
Bacca di vaniglia o vanillina | 1 cucchiaino di Lievito per
dolci
Per il ripieno: 5 Mele renette o „Golden Delicious“ | 80 g
Zucchero | 80 g Uvetta | 1 cucchiaio colmo di Cannella | 70
g Gherigli di noci | 50 ml Liquore all’amaretto | 1 Scorza di
limone | 60 g Pangrattato o biscotti sbriciolati | 40 g Burro
Per completare: 20 g Burro
AL LAVORO
Formare una fontana con le polveri e al centro aggiungere
tutti gli ingredienti umidi. Impastare velocemente per poi
far riposare il composto, coperto con della pellicola, in
frigorifero per circa un’ora.
Sbucciate le mele, tagliatele a pezzetti e unitele a tutti gli
altri ingredienti, tranne il pangrattato e il burro o dei biscotti
sbriciolati.
Lasciare riposare il ripieno per 30 minuti.
Rosolare leggermente il burro, aggiungere il pangrattato e
saltare in padella fino a quando il composto risulta dorato.
Se invece si utilizzano i biscotti, basterà solo sbriciolarli.
Preriscaldare il forno a 190 gradi statico.
Stendere la pasta in maniera rettangolare a uno spessore
di circa 1 mm, arrotolarla sul mattarello e disporla su un
canovaccio.
Cospargere nel centro della pasta per il senso della
lunghezza quasi tutto il pan grattato e poi il ripieno e sopra
ancora pochissimo pangrattato.
Dare forma allo strüdel e adagiarlo su una leccarda con
carta da forno.
Spennellare con i 20 g di burro fuso la superficie e cuocere
per circa 45 min.

Melinda-Renetten
ZUTATEN
Teig: 250 g Mehl | 1 Ei | 50 g Zucker | 50 ml Milch | 30 ml
Samenöl | 30 g weiche Butter | eine halbe Vanilleschote
oder Vanillin | 1 TL Backtriebmittel für Süßspeisen
Füllung: 5 Renetten oder Golden Delicious | 80 g Zucker |
80 g Rosinen | 1 gehäufter EL Zimt | 70 g Walnusskerne
50 ml Amaretto-Likör | 1 Zitronenschale | 60 g Brotbrösel
oder zerbröselte Kekse | 40 g Butter
Zum Abschluss: 20 g Butter
LOS GEHT'S
Alle trockenen Zutaten aufhäufen, eine Mulde in der Mitte
bilden und die feuchten Zutaten hineingeben. Rasch verkneten,
in Frischhaltefolie einschlagen und etwa 1 Stunde
lang im Kühlschrank ruhen lassen. Anschließend die Äpfel
schälen, schneiden und bis auf die Brösel mit Butter bzw.
die zerbröselten Kekse zu den übrigen Zutaten für die Füllung
geben. Die Füllung 30 Minuten lang ruhen lassen.
In einer Pfanne die Butter schmelzen, die Brösel dazugeben
und goldgelb backen. Falls Sie Kekse verwenden,
genügt es, sie zu zerbröseln. Den Backofen auf 190° C
(Ober- und Unterhitze) vorheizen. Den Teig zu einem etwa
1 mm dicken Rechteck ausrollen und auf ein Tuch geben.
Mittig der Länge nach erst den Großteil der Brösel und anschließend
die Füllung auf den Teig geben, zum Abschluss
mit den übrigen Bröseln bestreuen. Den Strudel fertig formen
und auf ein mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Blech geben.
Mit 20 g geschmolzener Butter bestreichen und etwa 45
Minuten lang backen.

1 teaspoon of yeast for sweet dishes
For the filling: 5 Rennet or Golden Delicious apples | 80 g
sugar | 80 g grapes | 1 heaped teaspoon of cinnamon
70 g walnut kernels | 50 ml amaretto liqueur | 1 lemon peel
| 60 g breadcrumbs or crumbled biscuits | 40 g butter
To finish: 20 g butter
LET'S GET STARTED
Form a heap with the dry items and place all the liquid ingredients
in the middle. Knead quickly, then let the mixture
rest covered with film for about an hour in the refrigerator.
Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces and add them
to all the other ingredients, except for the breadcrumbs
and the butter or the crumbled biscuits. Let the filling rest
for 30 minutes. Lightly brown the butter, add the breadcrumbs
and sauté in the pan until the mixture is golden
brown. If you are using biscuits instead, simply crumble
them. Preheat the oven to 190°C static. Make a rectangle of
the pastry around 1 mm thick, roll it around a rolling pin and
arrange it on a cloth. Spread almost all of the breadcrumbs
and then the filling lengthwise in the middle of the pastry,
with just a few breadcrumbs on top. Form into a “strudel”
shape and place it onto baking paper on a baking tray.
Brush the surface with 20 g of melted butter and bake for
about 45 minutes.

Altopiano delle Pale; bike tours to woods, pastures and

dell’evento internazionale nato per lo sport
e dedicato al futuro della comunità
Dal 7 al 21 febbraio 2021 Cortina d’Ampezzo, la
Regina delle Dolomiti, diventerà Regina dello Sport
con i Campionati del Mondo di Sci Alpino. L’evento
di risonanza internazionale richiama ancora più l’attenzione
perché rappresenta il primo appuntamento sportivo
mondiale al tempo del Covid-19.
L’altissimo livello degli atleti darà vita a un’entusiasmante
competizione per vincere i 13 titoli mondiali: discesa libera
(maschile e femminile), super G (maschile e femminile),
slalom gigante (maschile e femminile), slalom (maschile
e femminile), parallelo individuale (maschile e femminile),
combinata alpina (maschile e femminile) e team event.
Fondazione Cortina ha da sempre comunicato l’importanza
che l’evento riveste in primis per lo sport e del

Die Tatsache, dass es sich bei der WM um das erste internationale
Sportevent in Covid-Zeiten handelt, dürfte umso
mehr für reges Interesse sorgen.
Das hohe Niveau der Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer
verspricht aufregende Wettbewerbe um die 13 Weltmeistertitel
in den Disziplinen Abfahrt (Damen und Herren),
Super G (Damen und Herren), Riesenslalom (Damen und
Herren), Slalom (Damen und Herren), Parallel-Slalom (Damen
und Herren), Alpine Kombination (Damen und Herren)
und Mannschaftsbewerb.
Die Stiftung Fondazione Cortina betont seit jeher die Bedeutung
der Veranstaltung für den Sport, aber auch für die

future of the Community
With the Alpine World Ski Championships to
be held from 7 to 21 February 2021, Cortina
d’Ampezzo, the Queen of the Dolomites, will be
crowned the Queen of Sports. This outstanding international
event will now be attracting even more attention as
the first world sporting event to be staged in the era of
Covid-19.
The very high standards of the participants are sure to
guarantee exciting competition for the 13 world titles,
namely the Downhill (men’s and women’s), Super G
(men’s and women’s), Giant Slalom (men’s and women’s),
Slalom (men’s and women’s), Individual Parallel (men’s and
women’s), Alpine Combined (men’s and women’s) and the
Team Event.
The Fondazione Cortina has always underlined the importance
of this event, primarily for sport and for the value it
brings to the future of the community. The modern infrastructure
will remain as a legacy for the region, which will
subsequently be able to make use of these versatile structures
in line with its aim of seasonally appropriate tourism.

sciatore che raggiungerà direttamente Col dei Rossi.
Funcross Col Rodella, e l’ampia Funarena Canazei con le
tre linee Funcross, Familypark, Funslope, oltre al materasso

Das Fassatal, eine der Destinationen des Skikarussells
Dolomiti Superski, ist ein echtes Winterparadies: 1.200

unermüdlich an der Fertigstellung der renovierten
Direct-Drive-Umlaufsesselbahn Kristiania, der großen
Neuheit 2020-21, gearbeitet. Mit 6 Plätzen, Schutzkuppel,
sämtlichen Extras und beheizter Sitzfläche bringt der
rundum erneuerte Lift Wintersportbegeisterte komfortabel
direkt auf den Col dei Rossi.
Der Park Funcross Col Rodella und die großzügige
Funarena Canazei mit den drei Linien Funcross, Familypark,
Funslope und der aufblasbaren Matratze BigAir-
Bag sind ein großes, in die Natur eingebettetes Gebiet, das
ganz dem Winterspaß für Groß und Klein gewidmet ist.
Auch wer nicht Ski fährt, wird das Fassatal lieben: Es ist
eine Traumdestination für Urlauber auf der Suche nach
Entspannung und frischer Luft in einer zauberhaften
Berglandschaft.
Der Aufstieg mit der Seilbahn vom Pordoijoch beschert
ein Hochgefühl der besonderen Art, denn die Schönheit

Die Schutzhütte Rifugio Maria mit ihrer herzlichen

Tofana – Freccia nel Cielo fa sognare. Nell’attesa
di partire, si vive la montagna con il pensiero, tra
ampie distese verdeggianti, specchi d’acqua cristallina,
cielo terso e calorosa accoglienza. E quando si arriva
finalmente a destinazione, tutto questo diventa realtà.

La funivia Tofana-Freccia nel Cielo permette di salire a
quota 3.244 m di Cima Tofana e lassù potete lasciarvi

la degustazione di un calice di vino abbinato ai piatti del
Masi Wine Bar al Druscié.
Se invece non resistete alla voglia di camminare, raggiunto
Col Druscié (1.778 m), potrete seguire il facile
sentiero che vi porterà fino al Lago Ghedina, regalandovi
viste emozionanti sulle Tofane. I profumi e i sapori della
colorata cucina del Ristorante Col Druscié, sono invece
il perfetto accostamento per vivere un’indimenticabile
serata in compagnia del cielo stellato. A questo proposito,
tappa obbligata è l’Osservatorio Astronomico Helmut
Ullrich (1.780 metri) dove un telescopio Newton di 50 cm
di diametro ed uno Schmidt Cassegrain Celestron 11 vi
mostrano le bellezze del cielo.
