flavio venturini

I don't care where I arrive as much as the path that will take me there

I am an organized guy, precise, passionate, versatile, eager and

competitive in the first place with myself

I always try to improve myself in everything I do, but with serenity and

without obsessions

in multiple experiences I have demonstrated the ability to work

efficiently in heterogeneous groups managing stress situations often

resulting as a reference point for others

international design competition

SCUOLA PIZZIGONI, milano

step 1

step 2

Project of a 1st grade secondary school in an international

competition announced by the Municipality of Milan.

Next to an existing peripheral school pole where there is a

kindergarten and a primary school as well as a public library, the new

complex wants to be inserted in an adjacent area, replacing

crumbling presences.

The complexity of the theme lies in the multiple functions required,

the extreme flexibility in the future perspective and from the totally

public dual matrix pertaining to the new school.

It was precisely from this functional but inevitably interconnected

dualism that it was decided to leave, making a virtue out of necessity

and thus accentuating it to the point of raising it to the true

character of the project.

The design of the outdoor spaces of the whole school pole

systematizes all the functions present with the different degrees of

mobility, it also wants to be a local urban solution of the area not

limited to the functionality of the educational center.

NEW NATIONAL LIBRARY OF ARCHITECTURE

flaminio district, roma

The subject was a new national

library in a disused military area.

The purpose of the project was to

re-evaluate the aesthetic,

distributive and functional values of

the site, which turned into an

important urban hub in order to

increase the liveability of the entire

neighborhood.

The work was necessarily and

strongly influenced by the

relationship that the new project

had to establish with the multiple

characters of the urban area

including several important

architectures such as the Ponte

della Musica, the Palazzetto dello

Sport of P.L.Nervi, the MAXXI of

Z.Hadid.

masterplan

Rising where there is a military complex that represents a barrier to the

use of the neighborhood, the new national library together with its park

are proposed as a new attractive glue between the punctuality of interest

of the neighborhood.

environmental and landscape redevelopment

of PARCO DI TORRE SPACCATA, roma

The project of the new urban centrality of Torre Spaccata becomes mingling

and systemization of multiple themes: accessibility systems including the

new metro line, new squares and urban mico-centrality; a large green park

with multiple characters that fits into the environmental system of the

south-eastern sector of Rome, reconnecting its ecological features; 37500

square meters of residential area; more than 11 ha for tourist-attractive

and commercial functions.

Carrying out on the double track of landscape design and urban planning,

specific attention has been given to the design method which is divided into

two macro-areas: the biophysical (B) and the anthropic (A).

From interpretive readings and analyzes, it is possible to deduce and

highlight criticalities and values of the area. In this way, planning

objectives are set, from which metaprojective strategies are drawn up

relating to the whole area that see the recomposition of the two

macro-areas in a single large metaproject. The strategies are translated

into precise project actions identified in a masterplan, going down then on

detailed insights into urban and landscape regeneration.
