The International Economic Seminar 2009. Villa
Mondragone (Monte Porzio Catone, Rome) opens its doors
to the 21st edition of the International Economic Seminar
from June 24-25, the scientific event organized by the Tor
Vergata Economic Foundation for the analysis of
international financial issues. This years theme, Global
Crisis and Long Term Growth: a new Capitalism Ahead?,
will explore the challenges generated by the current
economic crisis in the medium-long term. Nobel Prize
winner for Economics, Edmund S. Phelps, will be in
attendance, as will French economist, Jean Paul Fitoussi
and the American, Dominick Salvatore, from Fordham
University.
Viva l’estate! L’Europa festeggia in musica. Torna il
21 giugno, nelle piazze di tutta Europa, la Festa della
Musica, frutto della collaborazione tra i Ministeri
della Cultura francese e italiano e l’Associazione
italiana per la Promozione della Festa della Musica.
La grande manifestazione popolare, giunta alla 15°

per le strade, le piazze, i giardini e persino in musei

Long live the summer! Europe celebrates with
music. The Music Festival is returning to the squares of
Europe on June 21st. This is the result of a collaboration
between the French and Italian Ministries of Culture and the
Italian Association For The Promotion Of Music Festivals.
This hugely popular event, now in its 15th year, is open to
all musicians, both amateur and professional, who wish to
play for free in the streets, squares and gardens,along with
the museums and castles, too. Among the event’s
prestigious partners is Gruppo FS, as part of the Magnificent

ll mondo in scena a Villa Adriana. Prende il via il 17
giugno la terza edizione del Festival Internazionale di
Villa Adriana, promosso dalla Regione Lazio e prodotto
dalla Fondazione Musica per Roma. Un grande
palcoscenico all’aperto che accoglierà artisti da
tutto il mondo, a partire dal regista lituano Eimuntas
Nekrosius con la prima mondiale di Idiotas di
Fjodor Dostoevskij. La manifestazione proseguirà
fino al 16 luglio, nell’antico salotto sotto le stelle di
Villa Adriana, con un ricco cartellone di danza, musica
e teatro. Anche quest’anno, il Gruppo FS garantisce
con pullman gratuiti il collegamento tra
l’Auditorium e Villa Adriana per ogni spettacolo.

The world is on stage at Villa Adriana. The third
edition of the International Festival of Villa Adriana begins on
June 17th, which is being promoted by the Lazio Region
and produced by the Music Foundation Of Rome. An
enormous open-air stage will play host to artists from all
over the world, beginning with the world premiere of Fyodor
Dostoyevsky’s The Idiots as directed by the Lithuanian,
Eimuntas Nekrosius. The event continues until July 16th in
Villa Adriana in the ancient, open-air room with a rich line up
of dance, music and theatre. This year Gruppo FS continues
to guarantee free coaches between the Auditorium and Villa
Adriana for every show.
“S come Supervelocità”. Topolino e Ferrovie dello
Stato premiano la fantasia. Si è concluso ad aprile
il concorso S come Supervelocità, organizzato da Topolino
in collaborazione con il Gruppo FS: un invito per
tanti giovani lettori a liberare la fantasia rappresentando
con disegni, rime, storie e fotografie il viaggio
inaugurale sulla linea immaginaria Paperopoli-
Ocopoli. Ad aggiudicarsi il superpremio, la Cartaviaggio
