Biografico «Mi colpiva il fatto che si
fosse fatta da sé. Una ragazza che veniva dalle
campagne francesi, povera, senza istruzione, ma
dotata di una personalità straordinaria e destinata
a precorrere i tempi». Così la regista Anne
Fontaine racconta le ragioni del suo film su Coco
Chanel, non solo icona di stile ma creatrice di
una moda che rivendicava la libertà della donna.
Biographical «It struck me that she was a self made
woman. A poor, uneducated girl who came from the
French countryside, but who was gifted with an
extraordinary personality and was destined to be
ahead of her time». This is the way director, Anne
Fontaine, explains her reasons for making a film about
Coco Chanel, not only a style icon but a fashion
designer who claimed freedom for women.

fEstival Per festeggiare i suoi primi dieci
anni di vita, Maremetraggio, festival dedicato ai
cortometraggi e alle opere prime, propone un focus
sul cinema ellenico tra corti e incontri sulla
produzione cinematografica greca dell’ultimo
decennio. La sezione Maremetraggio darà poi
spazio a oltre 100 cortometraggi italiani e stranieri
mentre, ospite della kermesse, sarà l’attrice
Alba Rohrwacher, a cui verrà dedicata una prospettiva.
Festival To celebrate its first ten years,
Maremetraggio, the festival dedicated to short films
and debuts, this year focuses on Greek cinema with
shorts and meetings on Greek film production over the
last decade. The Maremetraggio section will show
more than 100 Italian and foreign short films, while the
guest of honour will be the actress, Alba Rohrwacher,
to whom a retrospective has been dedicated.

barche si mobilitano in difesa dei corsari del

Epic The year is 1966 and a pirate radio station is
broadcasting rock and pop music from boats off the
coast of Great Britain 24 hours a day to 25 million
listeners. When the British Government tries to shut
them down, hundreds of boats mobilise to defend the
rock ‘n’ roll pirates.
