Sarà l’anteprima italiana del film di Ang Lee, «Taking Woodstock», ad inaugurare il Biografilm,
il festival cinematografico dedicato ai biopictures che si svolge a Bologna dal 10 al 15 giugno
e che avrà come tema “Back to Woodstock”, in occasione del quarantennale del famoso raduno
rock (che ricorre ad agosto). Oltre all’opera del regista taiwanese, il festival sarà ricordato
da altre proiezioni, iniziative e dalla partecipazione di alcuni dei protagonisti dell’evento tra
cui l’ideatore Artie Konfeld.
Rock Film Festival The Italian premiere of Ang Lee’s “Taking Woodstock” opens Biografilm,
the film festival dedicated to biopics. The theme of this year’s festival, which takes place in
Bologna from June 10th - 15th, is “Back to Woodstock”; celebrating the fortieth anniversary of
the famous rock festival (which occurs in august). Alongside the work of the Taiwanese director,
the rock festival will be remembered with various other screenings, initiatives and the
participation of some of those who made the historic event possible, like Artie Konfeld.
