Konstantin Grcic nasce a Monaco di Baviera nel 1965.<br />
Inizia il suo percorso formativo in Inghilterra al Parnham<br />
College come costruttore di mobili, proseguendo<br />
poi gli studi di design al Royal College <strong>of</strong> Art di Londra.<br />
Nel 1991 fonda a Monaco il proprio studio e crea<br />
prodotti per arredamento e illuminazione per primarie<br />
aziende europee di design. Con la lampada Mayday<br />
ha vinto il Compasso d’Oro nel 2001.<br />
Konstantin Grcic was born in Munich, Germany in 1965.<br />
After training as a cabinet maker at Parnham College<br />
in England, he studied Design at <strong>the</strong> Royal College<br />
<strong>of</strong> Art in London. Since setting up his own design<br />
practice in Munich in 1991, he has developed furniture,<br />
products, and lighting for some leading European<br />
design companies. Grcic’s Mayday-lamp won <strong>the</strong><br />
Compasso d´Oro in 2001.<br />
