Since 1995, AXA has sought harmony between traditional experience, strengthened by the industrial sector of Civita
Castellana, and the new emotional concept of the bathroom as the expressive centre of the house ambience. AXA,
preserving and successfully expressing the values of a family company – itself a complete expression of original,

quality – has always focussed on a constant search for new interests and technologies aimed at promoting the
protection of the environment and energy conservation. Now AXA is proud to introduce… its renewed Bathroom area,
wishing everyone a pleasant viewing!
Romano Adolini, architect and designer, known for his particular research linked to the Viterbo area and construc -
tion techniques involving the use of tufo. Since 2000, he has enlarged his focus to the development of projects in
the bathroom sector, boasting collaborations with Boffi, OLI, Axa and Kerasan.
He received several awards and prizes including the Design Plus 2003 and two reports for the Compasso d’Oro
Award for 2003 and 2004 editions of the ADI DESIGN INDEX.
Massimiliano Cicconi, designers from the rare experience in the ceramic industry, thanks to its membership ‘by
birth’ to the ceramic district of Civita Castellana and therefore, by nature, particularly interested in the ceramic
tradition from an early age, has worked for a long time with major companies in the industrial sector civitonico
distinguishing itself always innovative research and strong personality.
Carlo Urbinati, particularly related to the furniture and lighting industry, as well as the bathroom and the kitchen
boasts international collaborations in Austria, Japan, Australia and Spain, also acting as Art Director and corporate
image coordinator. In 1995 he received the “GRANDESIGN” for the tub “Maurea” of Europe Jacuzzi production
and has been president of the association for the “FORM ACTION” design.
Chiara Valeri, from the world of stage design, then it deepens studies relating to furnishing and design issues of
creating interior decoration design and collaborating with industry Bathroom Furniture and tableware.
Alessandro Paolelli, estimated collaborator of companies Colamedici Group doing the technical side, his first engagement
area, the strength of his creations point.
