PROSPETTIVE E OBIETTIVI DI RICERCA NEI PROSSIMI TRE ANNI<br />
Nell’immediato futuro il gruppo si focalizzerà su:<br />
1. Creazione di modelli di animali reporter per lo studio in vivo di fenomeni infiammatori e di stress ossidativo<br />
mediante metodologie di imaging non ivasivo<br />
2. i meccanismi di controllo del metabolismo energetico esercitato nei mammiferi di sesso femminile da parte<br />
degli estrogeni e loro recettori. In particolare il gruppo focalizzerà il proprio interesse sul cross-talk tra fegato e<br />
cervello nel controllo del metabolismo lipidico e <strong>della</strong> assunzione di cibo.<br />
3. Modulazione degli estrogeni <strong>della</strong> neuroinfiammazione anche in relazione alla progressione di malattie<br />
neurodegenerative<br />
